Are you sure you want Mocha to be the leader of this bracket? I would rethink that vote!
im tired of this topic the only time people think gy farming is a bad idea is when they are getting farmed has there been once where someone has been farming gy and someone said to stop? if whoever you were farming was on horde or the other way around they would be right there farming as well

I disagree. I think farming is a bad idea all the time. I never take place in farming, and when the team I'm on starts farming I do my best to cap flags quickly and end it unless some dumbass rogue kills me as I cross mid. If my team gets farmed, I'll either stealth away on my rogue or sit in ghost otherwise. I usually give the farmers crap the entire time as well.

I disagree 99%. I normally leave games where my team members are farming just like I did the other night. I have been in situations where I have stood by behind the road and attacked players that ventured out that far, but normally I will afk or stand on a stump. You can ask Discover and and pretty much anyone that has been in games with me.

Farming gets boring after it loses it's luster, not as much fun as a competitive game.

I've been on the last 5 nights in a row and I haven't seen you Daphane.

I've seen discover all 5 nights.

And I've been farmed 3 of the 5 nights in the GY.

And Resto, no offense.....but you stay in the game just long enough to where no one can zone in (in-time) to replace your afk. That might be a good reason why you are sick of hearing it from people. I guess you can't observe first hand unless you have been there yourself.

Dori, the flaw in all of this is that you assume that the best leaders are well-known people in the community. No offense to anyone in particular but the reason nearly all of them are well known is because they are self-promoters and the last thing the twink community needs is someone that is a self-promoter trying to lead the community...that's just a major conflict of interest as we've seen from the former bracket leader.

You may argue that people are well known because they're good players but that argument doesn't prove that they're good leaders for the community either. Instead of making the thing a popularity contest shouldn't everyone look for the people that actually try to help the community survive despite the barrage of crap Blizz has thrown at us? I mean we're not trying to find a prom king here...but someone that will promote 19s for the sake of the community and health of twinking.

That would be correct. Who do you think would fall in this category?

I 100% agree.
But you can't really espect another self promoter to understand that..

I'm really not in a position to have a good opinion as I've been away from WoW since November and I don't stay up with 19s enough currently. But I would guess there's quality people out there...it's just a matter of looking beyond big names and seeing the people who genuinely want twinking to succeed more than themselves.

But really this discussion is just a waste. Pizza may technically not have the bracket manager color but he still has the powers. Why does he have the powers still? I have no idea...you'd have to ask Shane. But I know he does...just look at the forum leaders section of the website. His name is green but he's listed in the bracket leaders area...which means that he doesn't have the official rank but has the same powers as those people he's listed with.

I'm 95% sure he doesn't have the powers still and that's just a graphical glitch Shane will probably fix soon.
