No MMO lasts forever. I don't think anything can save Wow from the long, slow death it shall inevitably receive. Face it. The game has aged....considerably. Blizzard can continuously rotate class mechanics, completely overhaul the world terrain, unveil new talents, classes, and races, and yet it's still the same old game that has been out for almost seven years now. That's a long life for any game.



It was a good run. But a day will come when everyone will have to pick up and move on. And that day will come sooner for some than others.

I've been planning to quit wow when diablo 3 comes out. By the looks of it, it seems that will be before mists. I'll still prolly buy it and check it out but diablo 3 will be my new bread and butter. Hell I been waitin 11 years for it.

Echoes what I've been thinking. Been waiting a long time for Diablo 3 and I'm hoping it'll be entertaining enough to drive me away from WoW. If I can't warm up to it enough, I'm most likely just bounce between the two.
