Quest count Question??

the question is how is the quest count figured and why does it keep glitching up and down?



was it reset at some time? does it include dailies? how do you know the real count?



on mine i currently have the achieve for 200 quests. but my count jumps from like :



314/500 up to 389/500 randomly.....



and i have 190 dailies so it doesnt even add up that it

might be jumping back and forth between including those...

The jumping is a glitch. This happened on my 29 paladin yesterday. Dailies do NOT count towards the finished quests achievements.

what is the real number then? the highest one it shows? because i do remember having the 200 achieve and my 500 one said 175/500....

Try going to statistics tab and checking there? Most likely though that number could be wrong also lol but im sure it will be closer to the truth for you

I've experienced the same, and opened a ticket about it. According to the GM I spoke to, the quest counter got partially reset, quests that didn't exist anymore wouldn't add up to the counter. I should have about 350 quests completed, but I'm only at 170 completed currently. Also, I do have the achievement for 250 quests. Assume the lowest number you get to see, that one's probably the one that'll matter to you.

To add to that, what Metal said is true. The counter reset (kind of) during 4.0 and it's been wonky since. I was at 350ish before 4.0 and after went down to 98. I'm back up to 198, but it'll change on holiday quests when I zone in and out.



To put it differently, no one knows and blizz ain't gonna fix it. Good luck

yeah my statistics tabs says 505 quests completed , but im no where near to 500 achieve lol.
