Which epics to farm to make the fattest stacks?

Hey boys

I'm looking to farm some epic items to fund my t3 sets. I have no experience in lower level brackets, and I am not sure if i should farm lvl 19 or 20 epics. Also, would you suggest any items in particular to farm, that would be the most efficient gold/hr?
Does it matter what class i use to farm? Which class is better for it?

Honestly, comparatively to professions + playing the AH + dailies + selling guild runs through raids/M+? It's not really efficient.

However, if you are going to farm ones to flip...I'd suggest avoiding ones that drop only from one single rare mob, and instead find ones that drop from a mob that you can farm numerous at a time such as Foamspittle.

Well then, mowing down hundreds of thousands of murlocs might be your thing!

Yeah, foamspittle sells for a pretty penny! The rng behind it really stinks though. I have 15 green foamspittle, 0 blue and 0 epic. I also have been popping on randomly and wiping out about 100 of those bastards in 15 mins or so until I get a staff to drop, and then I log off.

i would suggest 19, because the stats are the same on 19 and 20

19 is going to be the same stats as 20 for the most part. Weapons (pale skinner and pacifier) ppl will actually want at 20.

For fattest stacks...the harder the grind, the more expensive it will be. Pale Skinner is probably the most difficult. And silvermoon chest pieces will be dependent on roll - but will sell for a lot. Boarhide is often a pain.

Foamspittle, hard crawler carapace, and slicer blade are easier to farm. Foamspittle is BiS for almost every caster/healer, so its in high demand.

So it'll depend what you want to farm (rares vs lots of murlocs).

Whatever you are going to farm - you will have competition for kills - Rares / Murlocs or whatever.

For FS best farming in a group and hope you get good RNG imo.

TBH probably make as much farming Wildvines from trolls in Northern Stranglethorn, especially on a realm that has a lot on twinks on. They are about a 10% drop rate, plus some unique T Mog items drop.

Edit: tested my theory - Spent an hour farming, not pushing it, ended up with 6 Wildvines, and a bunch of T Mog items, inc an Epic https://www.wowhead.com/item=1624/skullsplitter-helm. Total value in the region of 30 - 40 K depending on which price you work too.

You'd be lucky to see an Epic FS in that time, I have had 2 in about 18/9 hours farming on multiple characters.

Also the server matter alot! if you farm 19 epics, Draenor/stormscale/Aszune/argentdawn/ravencrest will be the best options also depending on which epics you farm watch out so you don't flood the market and push the price so far down that it's not worth farming anymore cause there are ALOT of 19s farming epics
Best farm would be foamspittle and slicer blade and hard crawler they seem to be on demand
