When He Hits Them, They Crumble

UFC will make the fights that they think will make them the most money while still being at least somewhat reasonable to make in the fans' eyes. Get out of here with that fucking MMAth.

Nunes should fight Zingano, and the winner of that gets Holly if Holly beats Ronda in the rematch.

Thank you.

You cannot convince me any chick at 145 poses a threat to either Ronda or Holly. Those two make the best fight by far. Period. End of discussion, lol.

JDS has looked a little washed up and under par for awhile now. Cruz was injured at the time, I'm pretty sure. He's injured 24/7. Tate -- hell no. She's shown she just can't hang with the top tier. Pena, no. Nunes has looked good, but again, hasn't proved to most people that she can hang with the elite. She and Tate will get their chances after the better woman, Ronda, gets her shot at redemption first.

bantam is 135. Tate is on a 4 fight win streak. 2 of the 4 being over previous title challengers. Her last win being over Eye who was in the title contention talks at this point. Nunes just finished a former title challenger in the first round.

nunes lost to zingano - zingano got a title shot off nunes

+ cat hasn't fought since her loss to rousey in feb.

+ Tate is on 4 fight win streak since loss to rousey in dec 2013

k so ronda beat tate = she's the better woman.

k so aldo beat edgar = he's the better man.

edgar will get his shot after the better man, Aldo gets his shot at redemption first.

Oh, thanks for quoting me in case I wasn't sure bantam was 135 or 145. Was an obvious typo, ffs. Get over yourself.

Sara McMann has looked nothing but mediocre since her loss to Ronda. Tate got merked by Ronda in both fights.

People get punched all the time in boxing, why would 1 single punch make him fall

When the jaw is punched the head is quickly accelerated. After a fraction of a second it quickly decelerates as muscles, bones and tendons prevent it from spinning further. The brain is floating in fluid inside the skull. It accelerates slower than the rest of the head. This forces it the crash into the side of the skull when the head suddenly decelerates.
When the brain slams into the inside of the skull, in suffers trauma. It then bounces the off the side and slams into the opposite side of the skull. Depending on the force of the punch this can happen several times.
This trauma stimulates an overwhelming amount of neurotransmitters to fire off at the same time. This overloads the nervous system and causes all muscles to relax. And voilà, the injured person falls to the ground unconscious or "knocked out".

yes, but people take shots to the jaw all the time in combat sports, the reason he was KOd with 1 punch was because he didn't have time to mentally prepare for the shot, he was caught off guard & didnt see it coming. (majority of sucker punches end in knock out because of this.)

perfect example @ 57 seconds

Not to mention, MMA gloves are a fraction the size of boxing gloves (referring to the quoted person's comparison).
