What's the rarest thing you own?

nope wotlk event
if i remember correctly, the battles for Gnomeregan and echo isle were during wotlk, but near the cata launch, yes?
because i remember the Wotlk event with flyng frostwyrms attacking sw harbor and valley of honor before they both cities got their mods in cata....again i might be wrong, it was a while back.

patch 3.3.5 - wrath

I don't think it would be that difficult to get it through GM help

Something like this situation http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f43/omg-58976/ you mean?

you can fish it anywhere in DMF or just pools? sounds like a fun item

Not 100% sure if it's pools or open water, I think I got it while doing the daily DMF fishing quest (so not from pool) but can't confirm cus it's been a while :p

thanks :) i like this feeling of discovering stuff like that. i mean in a different way than reading the mined data months before it's even live ; i always thought that this datamining thing was great, but years later i actually think that this is part of what killed the magic of the game.

i still remember that story about a hidden npc in stronglehorn, that was supposed to spawn a short amount of time once a month, he was supposed to sell a super rare mount sometimes, i think it was a hoax, but still people spent tremendous amount of time waiting at supposed spot where they heard that npc was supposed to be, lol good times. that was in vanilla, at the thoftbot era, way before wowhead.

Respect
