what's the most underpowered f2p class 5.4

fury warr. it was actually doable in 5.3, but in 5.4 they added GCD to weapon swaps, so all my custom macros that swap weapons for max efficiency on every swing got totally screwed over. making fury warrs the worst. but that is just one spec, for overall difficulty to pull off, i'd say priests, because EVERYONE will focus you for your shields, and you have so little armor.

Definitely not most underpowered, but most underrated is the frost mage. I would go as far to say frost>arc in arenas.

The one you play the lousiest.

Really? I thought the damage on Fireball was on par with Lightning Bolt from a Ele, and Crit Pyroblast is 500-600 damage, sometimes you get lucky and pull two in a row o_o

The problem is that fire is pure hard cast.

Assuming 150 spell power Fire Mage, and calculating in a base resilience of 40%:

Pyroblast: {98 + ([150]) x (1.98) } x (.60) = 237
Pyroblast (DoT): {96 + ([150]) x (2.16) } x (.60) = 252 (Over 18 seconds: roughly 14 DPS, or 42 damage a tick)
Total Damage: 489

Hot Streak (+25%)
Pyroblast: 296.25
DoT: 315 (Roughly 17.5 DPS, or 52.5 a tick)
New Total: 611.25

Fireball: {67 + ([150] x (1.50)] } x (.60) = 175.2

Not exactly spectacular, but manageable. I would say the bottom four class specializations are:

4. Shadow Priests
3. Enhance Shamans
2. Fire Mages
1. Fury Warriors

Back to Fire Mages: Assuming all critical strikes,150 spell power, and 40% resilience, the best burst rotation is probably to:
1. Frost Nova target.
2. Cast Pyroblast onto target. (474) (Critical Strike) (Shatter)
3. Presence of Mind a second Pyroblast onto target. (474) (Critical Strike) (Shatter)
4. Hot Streak Pyroblast onto target. (592.5) (Critical Strike) or (296.25) (non-crit)

This assumes a target that allows a full pyroblast to be casted into them, as well. But the potential burst is absolutely phenomenal for only 2 global cooldowns.
