Definitely. If the place weren't overrun by backpedaling hunters, affliction locks would be able to shine.

It's funny, there are other mages with more crit out of a bg, and inside since 5.4 it shows as only having 18% on the character window, but after two bgs of only shattering (which is about 100 shatters) it hasn't not critted yet. In 5.3 it had 25% crit in bgs so I'm guessing the character window is just bugged, same as items not showing themselves as scaling.

I usually play fire mage and its not that bad(you can top damage charts if you dont bg vs 7 hunters)

Really? I thought the damage on Fireball was on par with Lightning Bolt from a Ele, and Crit Pyroblast is 500-600 damage, sometimes you get lucky and pull two in a row o_o

The problem is that fire is pure hard cast.

Best way to get a pyroblast proc is nova your target (or anyone closeby) then be sure you are at melee range to 20 yards aprox. Start a fireball or frostfire and instantly after that gets casted hit fireblast. What this does is gets two shatters out of one nova, also applicable to the other mage specs. This should instantaneously proc pyroblast, although your nova will be on cd sadly. This isn't 100% guaranteed to work unless you are soft critcapped. I think verh has a mage that is but I forget the name

KK so Fire Spec is DEFINITELY best with PoM spec.
PoM>nova> Pyro+FireBlast=Insta Pyro
This is the best way I have been able to find how to play. Puts out about 900 damage, I ddn't get the 2nd pyroblast to crit so Im expecting about 1.1k burst? Also my experimental mage is still severely undergeared lolz

Also to whoever said Frost is Rogue Killers, YES. Just yes lolz As Frost I worry about hunters. Rogues aren't that scary, everyody here made them "look" invincibly powerful, but they aren't as bad as hunters IMO haha.

sadly i didnt get them both off before the nova but theres just a lil taste of numbers u can hit with fire . so change that to two 1k crits followed by a 1.25k crit and maybey even more if u get super lucky fire can be devastating .

shadow priest isn't that weak it's pretty on par with enh shaman they aren't weak they are just weaker than every1 else cept fury warrior.

shadow priest and enh shamans can both heal and do more dmg than fury.

So no, I didnt forget shadow priests.

Wow... First of all to answer your question Fury Warriors take the deep end... Rogues are built for pvp so saying that they do shows what you know. And on the subject of clothies, i don't know if you noticed S.Preists have been owning since MoP dropped and the multiple fears and the root make them all but immobile... And Mages make the difference, an arcane mage can dish out high dps by spaming arcane charge until it hits 4 charges in a crowd u just have to Nova and arcane barrage and bam! 1k! Frost just murders non healers and meele. If fire gets the chance to crit often then its gonna own. Worlocks do not as u say "suck." If you are a pro like yours truly you can get into combat with a hunter kill him and have full health at the end of the fight. Thus far the only Pros besides myself (Mypetstrips) were Hu, Bane and Nineteen (on alli) and Dumass, Mortaldubs, Salfir, Brainthebad (on horde). And enhance is playable vs non healing classes and feral/ guardian druids... The only one i have not beaten with one was Lankypuss who ALWAYS hits a 2k Ferocious Bite at the end of every duel...
