Thanks for responding all, I have 2 more follow up questions,
What servers are still active/What do they do now days?
As in korgrath for arena's, AP for losts of people, NG/Misha/BWL/Vashj for small tight knit comunities, are these the same or have they changed?
And
How reasonable is it to try and get an AGM now days.
The following is my opinion. I'll go server by server from your question.
Korgath: What a great idea this started as. As I understand it, these days it's a ghost town unless someone coordinates arenas on Skype at which time people log in to play. I have no info on whether that still happens. It's a busy PvP server, so AGM might be hard? No solid info on this.
Aerie Peak: I was born and raised here and helped make it what it once was. It became too popular for its own good, attracting so many people of different personalities and motives that it splintered into subgroups. The Titan players on Alliance have vanished or dispersed (myself included, more on that later.) The Titan players on Horde, many seem to still be around, but generally stick to themselves and getting into a premade with them requires some inside contacts. I'm genetically incapable of being overly harsh on Aerie Peak because it's my mother, but I don't play here anymore. AGM pretty much unobtainable unless you're in the clique.
Moon Guard, Misha, BWL, Vashj: Still great, decent sized communities. I don't know much about Moon Guard but Sleepy is good people. Misha is becoming a strong Alliance PvE server, from what I hear. Blackwing Lair is a very strong Horde server. Vashj is a strong Alliance PvP server, and it's where I call home. If you want more info or opinion on Vashj, PM me, this isn't the place for advertising. I can't speak for the others but AGM on Vashj is very doable, especially since we help each other get it and we have support from several 90s.
Take everything I say with a grain of salt: Only you are going to know if a particular community is right for you.
