Tass u still don't get it u make up the "lost damage" with the proc which also procs EF

If u ambush with double fang u have a high chance of a bolt proc which can also proc EF which will easily do more damage than boa MH

There is no "lost damage" with SF, look at pics on my previous post

I use double fangs so don't say that to me lol.... I asked sponsor about the fangs vs boa because he is way Better with numbers than I am he said the proc alone made up for the 1 damage lost top end

I know, but you said that there is a loss of damages with sf, wich is not the case, sf embush hits harder than boa ambush, no need to be good with numbers just need to look at tooltips

you guys know that the shadow bolt proc doesn't happen nearly as often as it used to right?? i always look at combat logs after games and I've seen 5 in 50+ arenas

Wich means that SF has better damages from white hits AND better damages from special attacks, = SF > Boa

Wrong. When you swap to Dual Shadowfangs you completely change your stats, (an increase in agility) which makes your data inaccurate and not constant.
We are looking at the raw damage, not the stats+damage, and when it comes down to it, the BoA sword hits harder than a Shadowfang.

Here are screenshots showing that Nick's data which is not constant (his rogue's agility increases by 2):
BoA MH
Shadowfang 2x (causing a stat change)

Here is actual data with Ambush damage with CONSTANT stats:
BoA MH
Shadowfang MH

Notice how Nick's rogue gains 2 agility whilst my rogue's agility remains constant.

The Agi that causes SF to hit harder than Boa is "bound" to SF so yeah sf hits harder, I don't get why you want stats to be constant while Sf stats ans boa stats are different
Edit : BTW what you did is completly silly, you are comparing wich weapon is better MH but you are switching OH weaps... If you want real comparison only Mh should change...

I'm not close minded I'm right and you can't admit it, trying to defend you're point with pics of non normalized damages or comparisons based on different gear, the only thing that could make boa average Embush (or other special attack) hit harder than Sf is the extra crit it gives, and it doesn't (simple math).

The only reason I see why people say BoA being better than SF is because they dont have it, or they cant afford them. Its the BvB debate all over again.

If you go by what Rusk is saying, with poisons and hemo procing EF which gives sustainable off-target damage if they are full of bleeds/poisons, SF would be better than BoA. Reason being is that the shadow damage from the sword procs EF as well, giving you even more EF procs (youd have to do the math to see if that extra ~150 proc does more damage than that "1.01% CRIT AND 4 STAM and omg ambush dmg")....
