What would you have done in this situation?

I've entered a recent BG where I was the only one playing objectively and everybody was farming middle, whereas their team knew what they were doing.

I knew as a rogue who's focused on DPS gear, I'd not be an adequate FC though nobody was even making an effort to try to get to the EFR to FC. As I knew this, I tried to FC in hopes to try and cap before their FC could cap, and got backlash from a F2P rogue who was farming mid named Goldiet, who was deeming me as a failure due to being a DPS specced rogue trying to FC. Of course, it ticked me off as I was saying that at least I'm trying to win and play objectively unlike him, yet he said that there would be time for another person to FC (Which isn't true as judging by my map, nobody was trying to get to EFR). Needless to say, I died. I'm sure I was playing fairly and I had little at fault considering I made an effort. Most of my deaths in an attempt to win were little my fault (Though I did some stupid things), but mostly my teams considering I'd look at my map and try to run to a cluster of our team who were healing classes. Didn't get healed at all, and didn't get help. They continued to farm.

The backlash continued greatly as groups of mid-farming F2Ps and 24s were calling me a baddie as I was trying to explain calmly and unoffensively that it's better to have an FC, even if undergeared, than no FC at all.

Really grinded my gears since we had a good team composition of geared players and good classes, though we lost due to a lack of effort for better oriented FCs stepping up or people going after EFC, and I was the only one trying yet was being called the worst though nobody helped, or healed me.

How would you guys handle this situation?

Would have went for flags a couple times, if I didn't succeed, I would start spamming check, trying to make some proper FC class go for flag. If no one would listen I would join the farm.

You're just sitting at a GY camping people who are undergeared with no hope of you failing. That's not PvP, that's called stomping on other people. Camping people with no hope to fight back isn't fun, it's almost bullying. They want to play a game and you aren't allowing them. It's like going to a beach, trying to create a sand castle and once it's almost done, you kick it down.

24s already have a major advantage, but using a 24 to camp for honor is just screwed up. Disrespect man. It's PvP, not an honor factory, I'm pretty sure Blizzard didn't intend for GY farming and I'm pretty sure they're against it.

Farming ruins the game, no matter how you try to justify it. I avoid the enemy graveyard unless I'm trying to kill an EFC, or help our FC, and will purposely go out of my way to kill people GY farming my team.

You don't know what PvP is. I play for player vs player, not player getting cheap honor.

There is no honor, but there's standards. GY farming kills brackets. It's killing 19s (They're becoming inactive on and on).

I play to have competitive, fun, PvP matches, not to sit around being a bully stomping on sand castles.

Twinking was made for PvP. Act like it.

And before you say rogues are OP, they're glass cannons. Do a lot of damage, but die easily. OP is good damage combined with good survivability in my opinion. Please be a respectful player. The people you GY farm are people behind the screen who want to have fun.

Don't run the flag as a rogue. Hide the flag. A rogue picking up the flag is usually enough to set off the red flags and get people thinking straight. If that doesn't work, though, just pass the flags to the other team and let them get the game over with quickly.

But infact..I myself advocate the use of 24s , the more the merrier in the 20-24 bracket. There is always going to bullshit going on whenver it will be class stacking of paladins or 24s or premades

And even if i would change your mind that a 24 is OP, another one would simply take your place. Or if 24s were gone the bgs would be filled with 5000343 blood elf paladins or night elf druids. So like I said even if you would stop playing an OP class/spec another will take your spot so please feel no guilt, which is whyI feel no guilt in farming any change I get.

I understand why you'd want to play a 24 rogue, I have a p2p twinked one myself. But spare the bullshit about wanting the other team to have a chance etc. Think twice the next time you return the flag 6 times against one or two f2ps doing everything they can to cap a flag with a shitty team.

On topic, bad games happen. If you're dead set on winning, encourage your team to grab their flag. In the mean time, make sure your flag doesn't cross mid. It may take a couple minutes, but very few people will farm without getting a single cap (our friend Taxicab here being an occasional exception ).

True, it is annoying when a 24 kills you when you're playing objectively (I know this on my F2P feral), but it doesn't feel as bad as long as you know they're playing good too. It's only infuriating when you get killed due to GY farming (Since the healers are overwhelmed to heal effectively when rezzed.)

OP, If your team is farming and efc is rdy to cap just drop the flag and let the horde win.. Like said by oni I think just have a dance party in efr after doing a /truce. Sometimes no matter what you try to do you will have moronic people who will farm with 10 debuffs when efc maybe a sub 1.5k person.

As for DPS fcs dont listen to anything any1 says. I know rogues arent the best but with swiftness and evasion they can fc just fine. Tired of getting insults cause I refuse to give flag to some QT pally with less hp then me. If you know how to fc just fc
