What really grinds my gears?

Having a certain hunter all over me every time I pop out of stealth to heal someone, but the hugs are nice :p
 
Yea, WSG lately for GY farming has become unacceptable. Perhaps if enough people simply /afk when being GY farmed and refuse to queue some may get the hint. Without the F2P crowd the 20-24 bracket would become a very very very long queue. I laugh when p2p guys say they are paying for the f2p's accounts. What a retarded statement. Blizzard is paying for the f2p's. That's like saying the free stickers Walmart gives out is being paid by you. It's not. It's part of a marketing strategy of which you have NO say.

I'm not a hunter, but I make sure to give you some trouble whenever I see you because slippery druid healers are dangerous :p

Blizzard would not keep their servers up for the sake of F2P's if there were no P2P's. Blizzard is interested in money, not giving you a free game. The only reason F2P's exist is Blizzard's hope that you will start paying. All the F2P's could leave, the game would still go on. However, if all the P2P's were to leave the game, Blizzard would shut down their servers, leaving nothing for F2P. So yes, without the money from P2P, there would be no F2P's in warcraft. Our subscriptions do have a lot to say, money talks, bullshit walks, and blizzard is only interested in the MONEY, do not think that Blizzard cares about F2P's for anything other than potential subscriptions. Look at what has happened with enchant scaling, who benefits from that, F2P or P2P? Oh that's right, its the one's that matter to blizz, the P2P's, the ones bringing in the MONEY. Consider yourself lucky that the money blizzard earns from P2P's enables you to even have a F2P option. Where do you think the money to keep the servers up comes from? Do you think that the people working at blizzard are giving their wages back that they've already earned? Maybe there's a money tree growing out back of Blizzard HQ, with volunteers harvesting the crop? Or maybe, just maybe, 7 million subsciptions at $15 per month?

F2P delusions of grandeur, lol.

Btw, I'm against GY farming, and all for fast, efficient matches, but come on, pull your head out of your posterior, guy.

you know who pays blizzard employees wages right? blizzard. where do they get that money from, f2p?

there's no such thing as free anything.
 
That argument has no merit in the sense that p2p have no say over Blizzard. I pay for gas in my car does that mean I own the company that I buy it from and therefore it gives me the right to tell them how to run their business?

I have 3 p2p accounts, have played since Beta years ago but that don't give me the right to tell f2p what to do or that they should be grateful for me being a sub.

Blizz has made enough money to go completely free and reject everyones money and still be able to keep the game up and running for years. Money does not matter in this bracket. Money gives you no sense of entitlement in this bracket as this bracket is only alive because of F2Ps. Every other bracket, like the ones named, sure! Money means everything and is the only reason those are available! However in this bracket it would still last without money and when Blizz does go free (they will go free before just shutting the whole game down) it will STILL be alive without any paying subs as it's made for people playing for free.


My rant I guess is about people who pay to play in our bracket gaining a false sense of entitlement and superiority over every F2P SOLELY because they pay. :)
 
Why has this even gone on this long? Who cares? You pay your money to play the game, f2ps don't pay and Blizzard does whatever the fuck they want with the money. How is this even a discussion?

Lol, I can just see blizzard arranging for replacement servers...

Blizzard: "Hey Dell! We need a bunch of new servers!"

Dell: "Ok then, that'll be $250,000."

Blizzard: "Oh but its for the 20-24 bracket!"

Dell: "Oh well then, I guess they're free!"

and then there's blizzard negotiating the electric bill....
