EU+US What lvl to farm 19 blues

...19? If you are level 19, the BOEs you farm will req level 19 and have an item level of 25. Under the current template for IPVP, only gloves, belt, cloak, and shoulder are BIS. The unfortunate thing is that they are the same Item level as can be obtained from random dungeons. (I believe mail and plate helms would qualify, but i dont think any exist).

For normal scaling drops, such as those that drop from specific zones (Shadowfang from SFK), or from specific mobs (Gloves of the fang from druids of the fang) - you need to farm it on a 19 and it'll drop ilvl 25 versions.
For world drop BoEs...not sure. I'd guess 19...but BoE greens have some weird scaling and level reqs that might not follow that. Not sure if that means the greens are weird or if a higher level farmer is recommended. I don't think I've seen anything definitive on if blues drop at the highest usable level for whoever is farming it. Since only blue BoE weapons are scaling to ilvl 25 (and require lvl 17) - theres very little point from an instanced pvp gear perspective for farming them. Armor will be ilvl 23 (and require lvl 15), so isn't useful for instanced pvp. Not sure if there are any particularly good items for wpvp other than BoE cloth/plate gloves for the glove reinforcements..and I'm not even sure there are plate ones? So magefist would really be the only thing to farm.

ok, I understand the dungeon run rules on drops but I should have clarified I want to know about world drops. became more intrigued when I picked up a normally 31 level req (Blue)dagger that was level 19 required. IE what level would you have to be for this to drop? 25? I know you aren't 19 because I've tried many and it drops as 19IL.

Not sure anyone knows as of yet. I don't think anyones posted any world drop blues that have dropped for a 19 yet. If you have some blues that have dropped for your 19, let us know. Greens are a bit weird - so they don't actually indicate if farming at 19 will work or not.
