what is the benefit of running windwalker over rogue in premades

what do u mean . i figured since wer talking about a 4 healing ww or mage comp that youre being held in the GY , the mid dominance is insane. you can afford to send your hunters off to contest FC and still be containing. if the FC tries to skedaddle across you turn around from the GY and kill him.

im not saying that WW is right tbh i dont even like it that much but the games since the twink cup have been really mid focused and more about splits than playing defense

since this is the 19s bracket where everyone imitates others team compositions, I'm imagining a scenario where both teams are the same except the other is using a Rogue instead of a WW. You evidently have a specific event in mind that is affecting your opinion and I wasn't there to witness it. Obviously the better team consisting of players that are coordinated, have synergy, etc, are going to prevail with either comp they use.

I don't think that having a WW will have that kind of drastic effect. I would just have to see it for myself. There are clearly many benefits towards using either class. If the opposing team utilizes their rogue and takes advantage of opportunities with saps, etc, they will have a much easier time winning in my opinion.

its just how the meta is right now people like to run 4 heals and heavy mid with mage/ww. play some real ids zeiren and youll get a feel for it :)

i like rogue but we havent had any problems running ww. not that we can really judge a wws usefulness because we did sit in gy for nearly the whole duration of the games i was around for.

play to your strengths, rogue might be better for one team than another.

?????????

The benefit of running a WW over a Rogue in premades is it's easier to win mid. That benefit doesn't necessarily make WW better than Rogue though. If you're leading a team, run whichever will work best for your team. If you're looking to play either, play the one you will enjoy the most and play at the highest level, or the one that your team believes will work best for them.

k. what? hypothetically say you use a ww. you're in mid, your fc somehow dies, if that happens, im assuming your team is getting fucked up. your ww is marblea. so hes probably dead in the gy as well. there goes that plan. meanwhile, a rogue could just breeze by and grab the flag... but i honestly don't ever see why a rogue would grab the flag .. at 19s anyways. you literally die to a wet noodle. I would be sapping the EFC, slowing them down, so our team can regroup and while thats happening darkchewie is already up tunnel. boom game saved because of a rogue.

k... what ? Are you saying that Rogues arent good FCs? Are you new? Your own team even used the rogue FC as a sleeper pick in the twink cup. Nobody saw it coming. I've been working on my rogue FC game for weeks now trying to imitate your strategies. All im saying is that both are viable FC's but you need to build your comp to the players. A good rogue FC will dismantle a team by himself, but a good windwalker can really add to a teams synergy

Rogue > WW, because of reliable cc and interrupt (and you can cross field invisible)

I wasn't very impressed playing vs WW, it is def good but not as good as rogue.
