What is another good game of any kind that I can get into like I did with wow (5 years)

I am selling my account and wondering what another good game is!
 
LoL, Dota2, D3, SC2

mostly mulitplayer online games can keep you into them for a looooong time since there's always that human psychology aspect not found in single player games

dunno about shooters but there's certainly good ones

Not an online game, but you should give Amnesia a shot, heaps of fun and scares you to death at the same time.

Hobbies are really ones own choice for example i like to look at gems and metals while also making some good change off sports betting. My guess would be diablo 3 is going to be really fun but you have to love the hell out of it since it probably will be like wow and get old except much faster (only my guess) I found the call of duty games and their ilk (battlefield and such) to be really fun and great time killers if you are at least decent or good at them but if not they can be pretty lame unless you dont care.

Airsoft and Paintball are both hobbies ive found a lot of people who game in and its pretty good exercise along with getting aggression and stress off

Also collecting $ is a great hobby and by that i mean play with the stock market or the similar

Note: I do not count most jobs as hobbies because they are not so they are seperate from the collecting money hobby even tho they have similar outcomes.
 
cod is poop compared to bf. dont contribute to their business of tossing out rehashed games for 60 bucks a pop (plus dlc/xpacs) multiple times a year

bf games are really nice for sure but i generally like most cod games more they are a lot more hit or miss tho game to game.

and thats a great way that these companies make money is to churn out a yearly edition of their game, literally every major sports franchises does this in huge numbers and it still sells so i cant hate on them for that.

on top of that battlefield has done just that and they pop out a game a year roughly and have been for some time.
 
Call of Duty 4, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, The Elder Scroll: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Counter Strike : Source, Garry's Mod... If you like buying games often and stuff id suggest you to make a Steam account. They sell many fun games for extremly cheap.

cod is getting more than yearly. they just put out their new one in what, nov. then launched the what, 50 dollar "elite" dlc package. now theyre coming with a new black cocks already. franchise started getting shit after CoD MW 2 imo. just pure rehashes with nothing innovative

BF actually evolves and gets better. and doesnt rape you for all your money with 3 new games a year. hell they actually make it so it takes a year+ just to unlock everything in the launch version, not a week to get your 50th whatever CoD gay thing. they make map packs with variety to bring new life to the game, not just the same carp, and they dont cost 50 bones - plus theyre not even necessary when the original maps are still fun as hell. oh and did i say VEHICLES

sports games at least change somewhat every year. and if they dont bother adding new features, dont buy it..i played for 2 years with NHL 09, didnt bother me. you dont HAVE to consume just for the sake of it. but even yearly sports games add more things than the average CoD game

agreed on the mwf part i thought thats really where cod hit its peak

I more or less was pointing out most game series are like that i rly dont like that a lot of them have a yearly entry or more but thats how it goes i dont rly even like to game anymore just doesnt interest me like it did years ago

And yeah punkbusters makes me cry more than natives watching their homeland become landfills

i play on 360, so dont qq bout that and act like it effects all people
any patch for ANY game creates new glitches and bugs, so also dont bring that in to drag down bf3


@hamcake: dota is better than lol
@warcraft: lol stole dotas (aka wc3/ftfs) graphics. so if you dont like one, you dont like the other
