I looted the +12 dodge rating to cloak recipe on my main earlier this month in AQ40. Idk if im just really a lucky son of a birch or that the enchant will just not appear in my enchant list if I ever happen to use it (and level up enchanting).

If you use it you'll have the 35+ version of the enchant, the one without any level required is unfortunately GF''d.

Every resistance enchant to cloak is GF'ed too. Tho I got lvl 1 cloaks with all the different GF'ed enchants on Draenor if you're interested

I believe those still work. Resisted for the first time in years(that I've noticed) using that cloak on my 10 twink a few days ago.. Might start using them on my rogue again..

Yes the resistance still works indeed, but the enchant itself is GF'ed, making my cloaks even more valuable

The enchant says req lvl 35 but I believe it still works on any lvl. Back in BC I made my own boa had lvl 1 pants with legarmor kit, a cloak with 12 dodge, a festival suit with 4 to all stats and boots with speed... all gray items so they wouldn't bind.

Yes you can enchant it on any lvl of item, but you wont benefit from it unless your character is 35+

It might be different with the 12 dodge, but for instance the TBC leg armors, you are able to put them on low lvl gear, but you only beneift from the enchant when you're 50+

The enchant is grandfathered because if you enchanted with the AQ 12 dodge, it stayed on. I have it on my Rogue...however, since 4.3 or whatever, any new 12 dodge enchant requires 35+ .. but this is all irrelevant in 5.4

I was reading about enchanted scaling. Seems interesting. Seems that high lvl enchants will scale down but low lvl enchants won't scale up. Kinda a bummer because I wanted to see fiery @ lvl 90. I'm not sure what will happen to lvl 1 required enchants tho. My guess is that 15agi to weapon will still be 15agu on a lvl1.... because that's what lvl it's intended for.

Not necessarily. It's just a classic enchant. There's many enchants that require lvl 60....
