Sounds like fun, but yeh, need to solve the transfer-files thingy o:

Fraps takes like 2g/min or something ._.
 
Chill and I have been looking over a whole load of sites to upload large files on and found a few viable ones. The problem is the time it takes to upload these large fraps files, so I guess we need to find the easiest way to compress them to a smaller size effectively.

They moved the video and 'other games' sections in to the tavern due to their not being active.
 
In the end of the making of our guild movie we also ran into the prob with file size. But compress + dropbox workes fine just fine in the end the whole movie (30 min footage with about 80% recorded with Fraps) is 1,16GB large only, so it's not a problem.

The qually of files compressed can be seen in the first duel when filmed from Ericah's POV: BLNT The Guild Movie - Chapter 2 - YouTube around 1 min into the movie.

When I get home later I can try find the compressing programms used ... if needed?
 
Yeah please Rasta that'd be really helpful.

I wonder if the number of epic moments in games is going to increase because of this new initiative :p People trying to get shots the vid and owning shit up

I hope US players will participate.

And I don't know how you will send large files to someone unless you want him downloading clips from you all day.

For me, a minute and a half clip taken with Fraps is 4 GB.

Yeah, it's the same for me. I wouldn't mind downloading clips since I have my computer on 24/7 anyway, but let's see what we can do with Rasta's compression programs.
In the end it's probably gonna be pretty time consuming no matter how we do it, so it comes down to how dedicated people are. :)

That can be considered, but bear in mind that the one thing just about all active 19 twinks have in common is doing WSG. Adding things such as "PvE, hard achievements earned" takes away the appeal for some of the audience who could care less about those things. And if this thing is weekly, that could be a crippling loss to the amount of supporters.

Mainly cause PvE fights take forever but in the end (like in that vid) it's just finding a tactic and sticking to it.

Obviously I have no say as to what is gonna get contributed to these vids, but I tend to only focus on PvP not rly bothered about achies, I have nothing against people who do farm achies but maybe keep the pvp and pve/achie vids separate? Idk:p Coming from a complete youtoobnoob here

If you wanted to, you could show Achievement Points scoreboard, for a couple of seconds each week/keep it updated as the "episodes" go on/give shoutouts to people who have recently gotten things like Guardian of Cenarius title.

But you shouldn't devote any real time/editing to it.

Same with PvE, if you want to show it, it'd have to be mad sped up and most people would just skip past it anyway.

PvP will keep people watching.
