So, Im leveling a fire mage and I'm 1v1ing this Warrior. I already blinked his charge, and Im casting scorch on the move, and I notice that he is slowly but surely catching up to me, and long story short I die. Now this is odd to me, but Im wondering if there is some secret modifier that reduces my speed a little when Im casting scorch, because there should have been no that warrior should have caught up to me if we were running at the same speed.

Well i usually curve a bit when I back strafe....

Also, there was no speed pot, her character movement animations weren't sped up at all to my knowledge, and if there is a run speed enchant that works at super low levels, I have never heard of it.

Assuming they do eventually catch up to you, you have blink and frost nova.
