Warlocks

Are warlocks decent at all in this bracket? I have one at 19 I'd been interested in leveling to 20. Any good armories?

Warlocks can be so baddass in this bracket, so long as you don't run around by yourself and you know how to play one well. I've learned that warlocks are sometimes one of the best classes to follow around as pocket heals. A decent lock can lock down the opposing teams healer and making the flag return so easy. Revprayer is one of the better locks I've seen pugging. One time I ran into an amazing warlock not on AP who just knew how to peel people off heals (he told me he played warlock at endgame too), but alas I didn't remember his name and haven't ran into him again.

3 Most well known Warlocks on Aerie Peak are Bizr, Lazertag, and Salfir.

Bizr @ Aerie Peak - Game Guide - World of Warcraft <---- Best Geared
Lazertag @ Aerie Peak - Game Guide - World of Warcraft
Salfir @ Aerie Peak - Game Guide - World of Warcraft

All 3 of them play like a Glad. I still can't beat any of them 1o1.

I wouldn't run a Srs premade without a warlock. But warlocks are one of those classes that require you to be well geared, and it requires you to get carried a little in the beginning during the honor grind. But a fully geared Warlock who actually knows how to PvP is incredibly deadly. Not to mention those Single-Target Fears are deadly.

I love my warlock. Top damage nearly every BG only some 24s and rarely a 20 hunter can out dps a lock. Super easy to gear took only a couple days to level and get dungeon gear. Started mine the week of WSG weekend and had 3 boas (nearly 4) by the end of the weekend.

I like affliction spec the best. Still good burst with fear/SF/insta SF. And 600 Bane of Doom ticks are straight lawlz. Great CC with fear, and decent survivability/mitigation. Excellent healing with drain life/ soulstone/ harvest. Never run outta mana. And if you like seeing big damage locks are pure sickness. Done 80-90K damage in WSG, more then I ever did with my huntard.

Thanks for all the advice and support guys, I remember how much I love this community now! The lock will be on my p2p account so I already have most of the BoA's. I think I'll gear the lock up and give it a try, thanks! :)

Lock is incredibly OP and will be even more in MoP

Warlocks can beat most rogue most of the time. I know you cant believe it but once you get bis, you will realize that i am right

The only lock good locks I know in this bracket are salfir and Bizr. I still have trouble beating them on my ret pally.

Trouble? You won't beat them.
