The only thing worthy of doing is going after the weapons, cause they are the only thing that increases anything on your char and that is dmg (when you check your spellbook you see the diff. )

Well not really. Since the only thing that directly increase your dmg is weapon speed. You need the slowest weapon possible, and I think that BoA axe is slower than invasion. And I guess it's personal preference if it's "worth" doing invasion to get a 1-2% stat increase

True about the weapon.

The personal preference thing is questionable though....if you can't get to the stats-threshold then it's pointless...

You probably can though. With WF'd gear, AGM, old PvP insingia or fishing trinket. Even as f2p

It is 41. That is what my experience was before the invasions started on my level 20 that I linked above.
I believe the next tier may be 48. I just reached 48 on one of my 29's. When I get some time with it, I can experiment some more with different ilvl arrangements.

despite being 3.60 speed instead of 3.80 the invasion weapon makes my mortal strike hit harder, keep in mind when I have the Reaper on I am not Ilvl 41

Well yeah, if those few ilvls you gain from invasion weapon is enough to bring you past the breakpoint, the stats will probably outweigh the 0.2 seconds difference in speed

Lets try and calculate the absolute maximum itm lvl for a f2p (attainable ofc...)

Example : Warrior

There are all together 15 pieces of gear that are taken into account ( i excluded tabard and shirt )
9 pieces are attainable through Invasion chests ( 8 pieces of gear + weapon ) - 9 x 35 = 315
Back + neck slots are looms - 2 x 25 = 50
2 x rings ( lets say Band of Argas + Silver Piffeny Band ) - 32 + 30 = 62
2 x trinkets ( AGM + Old insignia of the Horde ) - 55 + 60 = 115

When added and divided......... 542 / 15 = 36.13 - lets say 36

Now some classes use an offhand - e.g. Bouqet of Black Roses - that's another 60....542 + 60 = 602 / 16 = 37,625 - lets say 38

So lvl 41 seems not possible for f2p...

Rogues and clothies should be able to reach more than 36, but yeah I guess rip everyone else.
