This is very simple.

This will be the first post deciding whether or not I'll try and head an bombardment operation of Blizzard's in-game "Submit Suggestion!" feature.

Spread the word to anyone you know here on twinkinfo - and let them vote if they want Skirmish/Or a "Queue random Wargame" feature similar to Skirmish added back into the World of warcraft.

This feature was not only beloved by 19s, 29s, 39s and so forth, but was also a very used tool by end-game people who was killing time or testing macros addons and other features. The wargame feature is too hard to pull off - so hard that most people give up on using it.

This is your chance to voice an opinion.

If a majority of this community wants to be a part of making Blizzard aware of the request for this feature - I'll be starting a major thread spamming of most official wow forums, reddit and arranging a date which "Submit Suggestion" will be posted on repeat through the in-game suggestion.

If I'm alone in the world with this, then I'll simply be sad on my own. Am I alone guys?

Let me just say that I realise that this might in fact do nothing to the stubbornness of blizzard.

But if we can just get the word out there. Then they have to deal with the fact that people want this feature back.

If we can get multiple threads on the official forum, with 100s of post.

20000 spammed suggestions in the in-game suggestion feature.

Then there is NO way they haven't heard our demand. And then we are successful, even if they choose to ignore us. And do they choose to ignore us? Then that just goes to show that Blizzard's dev. team might "claim to listen to the players" but in reality they don't.

If enough people join up - we might even make it to MMO champion who knows. I'll be writing to them if we set this thing off, that's for sure. Try and get some exposure on the subject through that site. Blizzard have a strange tendency to listen to them.

it would be nice to have the option to Q something other than BG's.
 
If there's enough backup for it - I think we need to make our voices heard, in a matter of quantity. I'm tired of sitting around making topics bout it where people just complain and nothing really gets done.

If there's enough people who agree with this, and want to help to try and do something on the subject, then I'd happily do the setup for it - so all people have to do is copy paste specific things, to help the awareness on this subject.

If the base support at TI itself is big enough, I have no doubt that we can get extra support from official forums at both battle.net and mmo-champion. This isn't just a feature that was liked by twinks, this is a generally missed feature across all levels. And I'm quite frankly tired of sitting on my ass not trying to do nothing bout it.

Even if it doesn't get the feature back, we can at least say we gave it a serious go. Lit up some lights in the night.

Don't post outside of this thread until there's visual support.

If there's enough people on TI, I'll set up a day for making multiple threads by different users on the same subject on various sites. It takes a few people to create a storm/bombardment though.

This'll be a last stand on the subject for me. It either gets the message through or it doesn't but it's only possible if people show the support in this thread...

Tell me what your thoughts are on the subject. Would you have friends that would help out? Do you have friends interested in this that just aren't on TI? Do you think this is even a good idea? If not, why not?

I'm happy the support is as big as it is. Thanks to twinking.net. We need more people backing this up though. Share the thread with anyone you know guys, ask them to vote to show we have the support.

For anyone that don't know what this feature is, because they either didn't know it was there, or didn't play when it was available:

Skirmishes is like end-game arena queue ups. Only thing with skirmishes was that you didn't get any rating, and you weren't in an arena team. Also you could sign solo to anything, and hope to get a pop with players your own level (brackets 10-14, 15-19 etc).

Millions of threads are all ready on the official forums about this and blizzard also replied. I think they said something about having some serious technical problems to implement this feature back into the game.

As i see it from blizz point of view is that they are aware of the problem but not addressing it because there is all ready a solution and or do something about this problem when every other problem is fixed meaning it's not a priority specially when wargames are still there.

It never hurts to try but dont expect much from it.

That's the thread I referred to earlier as well. That the "old programming didn't work with the implementation of cataclysm, and there wasn't enough people using the feature for it to be worth implementing" yet they wasted their time adding Wargames? And didn't bother adding a "Random Wargame" feature? - Quite strange considering how used skirmish was compared to Wargames (pretty obvious as well, seing as it's harder to use - not necessarily a worse feature in itself).

Still sounds illogical to me mate.

Yes, you're absolutely right. The part I highlighted is the reason for this thread. To raise awareness, hopefully up the priority of this feature on their list. I doubt it would even take much resources considering they already have similar things implemented - and and have previously had things like this on live. The current wargame feature isn't sufficient to a lot of people's needs.

I appreciate anyone spreading the word, getting their friends or people they know to vote here and tell me if they're interested in trying to take some action.

Action would be a day of threads, posts - on various sites, reddit - in-game Submit Suggestion bombing of a non offensive, creative and constructive post.

If enough different people do this, the attention it'd hopefully get, including the backup from the "general public", might make a dent in the attention span of Blizzard. Enough to dedicate 1-2 programmers 1 hours work :>.
