Voice an Opinion (Bring back skirmish or similar)

I'm also, on top of the obvious benefits, convinced beyond beliefs, that this would help restore 19s activity. Something to do while waiting for BGs? People don't log off, and suddenly there's people online queueing - instead of logging on, waiting 10 mins then logging off again because of no pop.

This can only benefit the game, honestly. In all brackets. There is no downsides to this.

Spread the word guys. Get the votes up.

dont get me wrong, but how exactly are you gonna bring back skirmish with only 100 people?
if you spam the suggestion feature often enaugh you will get banned (this is actually true)

also its not the first attempt on this matter and we still dont have skirmish back.
blizzard does know probably every single pvp player wants skirmish back and we still dont have it back.

its just not coming back until they decide to add it back in and no community effort this small will help speeden things up.


also note i havent read the whole thread so if there is some miracle way for you to get attention from blizzard, please excuse my behaviour

Our main goal of cause is to get the message through, that there's a demand for this. If you'd bother reading my thread, I never a single place promised anything. I don't have that sort of power. What this is, is like I said earlier, an attempt to "put a dent in Blizzards attention".

We're not trying to get anyone banned. Which is why we need a large quantity of people - because a few doing it would show obvious results: Ban. What it'd most likely be, would be a copy/paste (change name etc) message that you'd sent once an hour, throughout the day. If this is being done by 100-250~ people (we don't know the response from the community outside of TI), then that's bound to spam the inbox of what ever team is reading the "Submit Suggestion". If you in one day receive the same constructive message from a mass various sources - you can't do nothing but to at least pass on the information.

No one have ever tried pulling off anything in this scale. And as you said "probably does know", would be about all people seem to "know". No one actually know if the people who have the power to make these changes are actually aware of how high in demand this feature is. My only regret is not doing this earlier, before the amount of people that knew the joy of skirmish started to fade out.

Q: Arena Skirmishes: What happened to them? They were a useful tool in trying new compositions, testing out a new teammate, or just having some fun during downtime. Wargames are nice, but did skirmishes have to go in order for them to be implemented? – Zubzar (North America/ANZ), Nølfen (Europe [French]), Jinusek (Europe [English]), Whoohoo (Europe [German])

A: We didn’t cut Skirmishes because they were flawed. We just thought we’d get more bang for the buck out of Wargames. While some players enjoyed Skirmishes, we can tell you that overall they were used very rarely. We would have kept them if it had been relatively easy to do so, and we may add them back someday, but it’s just not a huge priority based on their previous popularity.

Started a petition:
Blizzard Entertainment: Reimplement skirmish arena (Or similar feature in Wargames)

We'll get an early start of the petition available to people outside of Twinkinfo as well.

also omg i cant beleive i forgot how awesome skirmish was at getting you out of a shitty WSG or AB lmfao prob not the best case to raise however
 
Skirmish would be great to get twinking back to a good state. Personally WSG never really appealed to me as much as arenas did.
 
68 people honestly isn't so bad. I was hoping for more though. I've seen various blogs, posts, tweets and re-tweets that all make me confident that all Blizzard require is a push in the right direction. Even Ghostcrawler wants the feature back.

It makes me wonder who is pulling the plug?
Who do we need to convince to get something rolling here?

I wish I had an in at Blizzard.

Sign the petition if you haven't people. It will go public on various forums in not long, hopefully rounding up the support we need.

People won't know who's name is who's. Except for mine since I created it. Anyone of the names put on can be anyone. If you don't mention you sign, but just sign - no one will be the wiser :)

We need more people to sign the petition. Thinking it might be a good idea to start spreading the petition on official forums etc tonight.

So it looks better if there's already a few people signed on it. Twinkinfo we need the backup! :)

Signed and I agree, considering how many people have voted yes and how many people signed the petition is kinda crazy, Voting on a poll wont bring it back the petition can actually do it some justice.

It would give us something to show for anyway. 78 'Yes' but only 23 signed. Come on people, show some initiative please.!
