Anyway, great event, great video. Too bad I had to go early.
 
Needs a bump for those who haven't watched yet.

Amazing video! Was great fun, and I like how Alliance wins in the video. ;) Horde definitely dominated the skirmishing field in the wake of the first battle, as they valiantly defended their blighted but beautiful Southshore from the invaders. Alliance managed to retreat under losses and keep a foothold in the plains outside the town. Future battles may take their forces further inland as the Alliance seek strategically more important fortifications. All very RP!
 
Odds were the same, we had 25 people, so unless alliance players didn't show up.

The NPC interaction was unintended, and both sides were unaware of the problem until mid fight.

I was partially leading the horde side, and a DK did show up, with no connection to us, and we pulled back and allowed an alliance main to deal with him.

The first event of this type and scale, there were bound to be problems.

Let's not tarnish what was otherwise a great and fun event with hearsay. And that's not directed at you Vail, it's directed at whomever you heard that from.

For our first time trying an event of this scale, it went extremely well, and set the stage for our trying more things in the future. That is what really matters. I said before the event that I would look pretty dimly upon anyone who complained that the event wasn't perfect, because [MENTION=8769]Rhaellia[/MENTION] is my bestie and was really stressing out over the event. So let's just let rumors and grumbings die, lest we end up discouraging other brave souls from ever trying something like this again.
 
Woo, only saw the second video now, utterly awesome. :D

I had a lot of fun that day and wouldn't mind a repeat. ;)
