20-29 are fine...

@ Saint as it sits you essentially have three options in the 20-29 bracket play as a restricted 20(Starter), play as a non restricted level 20(either subbed or Veteran, one time small fee) or a level 29. Naturally, they all scale up to the same level in a BG. So it isn't as bad as level most 20's make it out to be. I play a level 20 myself and do rather well, TYVM. The 20-29 bracket is the most diverse bracket in the game, thus it has the most haters as you can see from my example above.
With 19's, you pretty much have an even playing field with the except of the normal FotM rerollers and the normal egomaniacs that have turned many away from 19's in the past. However, there are many new community "leaders" that have stepped up and are trying to change that image. Some applaud them for that, some do not. I for one try not to even get embroiled in the High School drama that is 19's. It is an entertaining read though.
All of this is from an U.S. perspective.

Well if you have any hopes left that you could enjoy playing 19s you should resub right now.
For US, with the twink cup around, you could not find a better time to get into it again. If you wait till summer you will miss the hype that is actually going on.
Havent played 19s on EU so dont know about the quality of the games. But they got 2 games going at once yesterday for some hours. I think that hasnt happened since cata.
20-29 just no.

29s: many vets and also few f2ps still queing, and many many new 29s, a lot of 29 premades. Not that muchBM 29 monks but always 29 ferals...

Theres a HUGE difference bitween EU and US. EU is filled with mostly 29s on both sides. You've got the aidsy GSC on the alliance side and the terribad SPC on horde side. being a vet / f2p basically sucks on EU because its all 29s kicking over sand castles of f2ps and vets

US on the other hand currently has less scummy 29s and playing F2p is still viable and worth something there. There's also a huge rise in 19s playerbase there due to Soda and Hotted making 19s.

Don't know what EU 19s are like, but US 19s are getting increasingly more popular, even drawing popular endgame streamers, and their fanboys. 19s, so hot right now.

29s pretty much killed traditional f2ps viability, but blizzard changed how the whole f2p model worked, and now f2p players can upgrade their toons, let their subs lapse, and continue playing for free for the foreseeable future. TBH, I don't like 29s. If it were just 29s, it would be great. If it were just true trials, it would be great. But the way it is currently, is that 29s still crutch on true trials for pops, and you can't predict whether games are going to be competitive or not.

I haven't played much since 20 vets became a thing, but to me, it kind of just adds another layer to the colossal goatf*ck that the 20s bracket has become. Of course, some people might like that kind of chaos. Not everyone enjoys striving for competitive balance.

So is 19 "competitive" enough for you?
Class unbalanced, you can't fucking pug in 19s. They have their flaws
Any fucking bracket can become competitive through wargaming....

That is what you said right? Or is it just prejudice towards players that play at level 29?
Now, suppose that player that "sucks balls" at level 29 plays a level 19 or a level 20. Do they all of a sudden not
