There you go
why you got some N2O?
There you go
The US is definitely extraordinary, and the hope of the world to this day. The two benevolent super powers of the last couple centuries (Britain and the US) have ushered in the most peaceful era in world history, with the exception of the space between the two where socialists tried to gain world domination and had to be defeated in Germany and the USSR.MYT, do you happen to believe that the USA is the best country in almost all aspects? Because you pretty much seem to just go "Nope, nope, nope. USA is the best." and ignore anything said, and say anything bad about the USA is a lie.
I wonder where I've heard that rhetoric.
So are you just trolling, or is this Mitch McConnells burner account?no, half is a massive understatement. You’re not very familiar with European levels of taxation I see...or how they layer it in by adding VATs etc.
You think the US sends 60% of its federal budget on defense? Damn you’re smoking the good stuff. You’re also smoking the even better stuff if you think the world would be peaceful without its sole benevolent super power. The two world wars shows what happens when there’s a vacuum - socialist dictatorships try to take over the world.
and yes, most poor people in the US are poor due to their poor choices. Maybe they got dealt a bad hand, made far worse by attending a shit school due to the unholy alliance between the democrats and teachers union that wants kids to fail to implement socialism. But here, you can still make it. It doesn’t take generations to become wealthy like in Europe - you can be self made here.
you cant really argue with a dude who is seeing a different reality than the rest of us.So are you just trolling, or is this Mitch McConnells burner account?
Don't tell me how to waste my time on pointless endeavors!you cant really argue with a dude who is seeing a different reality than the rest of us.
Not better. You may have some better outcomes in general things like life expectancy due to your homogeneous population....our minorities have terrible health outcomes. But when it comes to cars for say cancer, nobody comes close to the US. We’re light years ahead on stuff like that.
wont find that reading the United Nations report though, which will claim that third world Cuba has better healthcare than the US.
Tell your boss you need to change your hours. Can yall not argue while im at work theres too many idiotic posts but i cba to respond to all of them
Ty for ur consideration
I don't follow this all the way through. Education in the US is free through the end of high school. Not only that, but it also has a high percentage of college graduates despite tuition being criminally expensive. It's really fruitless to compare a truly diverse country of 330 million with the Nordic states. Apples and oranges, so to say.Food for thought.
- Conservative views are linked to low IQ.
- Low IQ is linked to bad education.
- America doesn't have free education and is a liberal conservative majority country.
- Nordic countries have free education and are social democractic majority countries.

Teacher salary is also incredibly diverse. It's not 'amazing' anywhere, but it can range from working class to solidly middle class depending on location and years spent in the profession. Not to mention, teachers get pretty great pensions through state governments. Where I lived (Phoenix area), teachers in poor areas actually make a decent amount more than those in affluent areas as an added incentive. Diversity of student outcomes is definitely an issue, I don't know if it's a result of the population itself being so diverse or what. The quality of high schools is INCREDIBLY diverse in the US. If you live in a poor neighbourhood, guess what, your high school is gonna suck. Even if High School is free, the diversity is just too large. On top of this, teachers get paid next to nothing which negatively impacts the quality of the teaching.
The best predictor of any outcome of measurable success is the zip code you're born in.Diversity of student outcomes is definitely an issue, I don't know if it's a result of the population itself being so diverse or what.
I can easily believe that. Different socioeconomic situations. The best predictor of any outcome of measurable success is the zip code you're born in.

Ethnicity and income. They usually go hand in hand."Diversity of student outcomes is definitely an issue, I don't know if it's a result of the population itself being so diverse or what."
Diverse in what way? Ethnically?
The US healthcare system is absurdly expensive and inefficient. I still remember leaving my job and asking them how much it would be out of pocket - $600. I said $600 per year, cool. Then, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. You’re under misconceptions about us healthcare. The vast majority of Americans have health insurance, and the vast majority that don’t are eligible for free health insurance for the poor but too lazy or ignorant to apply for it. Further, anti depressants can be prescribed by your pcp here and most are.
to be clear, you don’t have free health Care - there is no such thing. Your government takes over half your earnings. You’re paying for it.
