After consulting with the moderators that know the 19s bracket better, I'm reversing my earlier decision to close this thread. They impressed upon me that this is a significant enough issue in your bracket that it needs to be talked about. As long as this doesn't turn into a personal thread about the individual people, and you guys can instead discuss the problem in general and how to deal with it, then I defer to my colleagues' more extensive experience in this bracket.

I do still advise that the best way to actually curb the problem is through in-game means, but I am not going to stand in the way of you guys raising awareness of the problem here and discussing how to deal with it as a community. Please accept my apologies.
 
Quack is a great guy in this bracket with a great attittude, well atleast to me. Ik there are many people that report AFK, they where listed earlier in this forum. Not giving out names. the best way to counter those annoying people is roll horde side fotm feral and kill them till they quit the game. :p

I've been twinking for a long time, and 19s have never been a good community for anyone except those who are part of the Cool Kids Club. Everyone else just gets shat on in games and it's not a surprise. If you're going to have a conversation about a problem that affects one person, you might as well include the problems that affect everyone else too.

That is the only reason this thread is still open, because it affects everyone.

OT: [MENTION=8138]Kincaide[/MENTION] I highly doubt that addressing the said players ingame would do anything good. Posting this on TI is in my oppinion the best weapon you have; you create awareness about an increasing problem in this bracket, and you show the AFK'ers (and ddos'ers) how the general oppinion of the bracket is against them. I'm not saying that they will immediately stop, but seing all these people, people they might enjoy playing with themselves, comment on the matter, might be a good start in changing their immature behaviour.

Oh oh I don't is agree at all. If you're not in a skype roll guild 19s aren't enjoyable at all. The most fun games are when these people aren't in the games imo.
[MENTION=12184]Snack[/MENTION] I don't disagree with you either however only in small amounts. TI is dominated by the elitists and anyone who voices a different opinion is ridiculed and outcasted. Most community members don't use TI because they don't like the drama that comes with voicing their opinions. Allowing some @ Community Issue threads as long as they aren't horribly lashing help provide some support and a floor for debate. People just need to not take it to terribly personal / vulgar lengths. Off topic but so people can't quote me on this- @ Moderation threads are not the @ Community Issue threads that I'm referring to (in case someone was looking to make a thread and quote me on the community issues thing)
 
People say a lot on things in chat, but I can't think of a single insult I can remember hurting my feelings. I'm not sure what's going on here, but I think many people think they are whiteknighting by getting rid of a troll or something, but it seems like afk'ing a person out repeatedly, is a lot worse than someone raging in chat. Then again, I don't know what was said.

Some folks are willing to go to almost any end to get revenge on what they perceive to be bullying. Then they do something that way worse than the "bully" ever did. I think some people just need to learn that people say stuff they don't mean sometimes, and that people don't actually want them to "kill themselves". This isn't to say that words can't hurt, but on the flip side some people need to toughen up, stop playing the victim, and using that status as a reason to do malicious things.

I could pretty much go on forever about this, but basically, people need not to use one bad thing that happened to them in their life to justify a whole lifetime of being shitty to people. This is obviously a problem that goes beyond WoW. There's an old Taylor Swift song that seems relevant...

Uhm it was Smull and nature who kept reporting me after - hence why i don't wanna play US 19s anymore - it wasn't them who told me kill myself that was other members of this lovely bracket

Jt was only two people? Need more than that to kick you bud. Tell all the names, don't need this toxicity to spill over into the US bracket.
 
Smull and HB was FCing, you kept stealing the speed, if some1 else got it you would Speedpot/Glide towards zerk, using drums on CD, just pissing of the team. Quack says people call him out to die irl to make it sound like a bigger deal than it actully is. I doubt there really is no other names or screenshots. That was just to get your attention, which worked out quite well. He probably got it from BGs 2 days on EU before this thread was made, calling me out to die in cancer/housefire etc.

But lets be real, your not a liked person, your a jerk to everybody. I wont vote you afk again though. It was just something we did to piss you off.
 
Wow, I used to piss off the whole team and make rude comments but no one ever got angry, everything was just swell. People used to even call outs stuff to me but I never took it seriously. Just check out how well your playing and someone out there would congratulate you. This ain't real life and it ain't your job so stop getting pissed off bro. :)
