Undelete Character Option

So I had some thoughts on the new "undelete character" feature. http://www.mmo-champion.com/

First off it looks like essentially free names changes. Your lvl 20 character can be deleted and brought back within 90 days. Blizzard will hold your name for a short time (undisclosed) but I bet it's less then 90 days. So you delete, wait like 60 days, have a friend make a new character with your old name, and reactivate. This works now, but you have to ticket blizzard to get the restore. But it prompts you for a new name.

Second, I wonder what this means for trial DKs. If we make them, log out, delete, and then undelete... I'd be really curious to see if they are still marked "locked".

Edit: You can't delete 55 DKs

Idk if you ppl know this but you can do the same thing right now. Delete your toon, get a friend to make a toon with your name. Get a GM to restore it, then you can get a free name change it takes like 4 hours though. Oh, and when I did it i was messing around to see if I could get a realm change so I said I want to keep my same name but someone took it so can I get a realm change instead, and they said yes, but I would rather have a new name ^^.

Clothie targeting scumbag xP yes I actually was fixing to tell you that I also have a character in mok'nathal but the game ended. I logged over just to catch you logging off xP I was left with such a mysterious feeling. I wanted to know who it was! So I set off on an adventure! I quickly gave up once I hit woods, I had forgotten it was hunting season... No but seriously it's been a while since I see anybody in mok xP do you play there often?

Deleted characters should stay deleted.
You delete them for a reason no point in bringing them back.
This world does not need more people with regret
 
I think they only made this option because GMs where pissed about all the idiots who delete their characters and then ask them for a restore. I personally think this is a good thing. GMs will be less busy so shorter waiting time for tickets.
