Unbind soulbound items

I heard someone mention a bug that could unbind soulbound items, have anyone heard about this?

For instance I got a pair of Mindthrust Bracers from SFK by needing on them, and they become soulbound to my rogue char, and I would of course like them to become BoE again :)
 
yo uused to be able to trade BoE thats bound to a party member and it unbinds and trade it back. doubt it still works.

I tried to unbind an item too, GMs wouldn't help so I gave up after a couple of tickets. Then again, what would GMs help with these days, anyways?

Back in 4.3 when Xmogging came out, their was a way to get items unbound. Their was a blue post on wow forums explaining how: because of the new feature of xmogging, BoE items would randomly bind to characters upon logging. I had a pair of feet of the lynx that I had xmoged on my 85 for get a 19 twink look-a-like xmog which was bound to me and I wanted to re-sell them. Opened up a ticket explaining how the boots bound onto me without any reason and that "it wasnt fair cuz they worth a lot", I mentioned that their was a blue post explaining that this kind of stuff was happening currently due to technical failure. He understood. He unbound. I sold for 500g. This was considered an exploit and was posted on OwnedCore back then.
SADLY, I also had the luxuary of being given a pair of bound Mindthrusts via dungeon trade.. ive tried that method, but I guess they know 4.3 was... a long time ago :p
 
There is a way ive heard of, Already bound BoE Epics back to BoE, it says epics but I guess it applies to blue items aswell, as far as im aware of it still works, havnt tested it myself. I guess that this could be usefull for a certain person who wants to unbind 2 fangs... Anyways I cant confirm it works and I probably wont do it myself since I have no use of it as I can think of, but if anyone does it succesfully or unsuccesfully please report back :)

edit 1; Curiosity got the best of me and im trying to do it now :p

edit 2; so im not getting the item I just tried with... made a ticket might take a while now then

That's cool! :O

Do you know if you have to be an enchanter yourself or you can put the item in 'will not be traded' and get an enchanter to disenchant it for you?

Im pretty sure you have to be an enchanter, as said im not done yet testing :p
 
Still nothing in mailbox, about 18 hours ago I made the restore lol, that one time it has to bug out ... If anyone else tries do tell your results

Well that is very nice :) I've made at least 10 tickets about several different items to be unbound (+5 resistance cloaks, etc), and no help so far. Also tried having lvl 10 item to get restored on my 19 for mog, and looms to be refunded, but never any luck. Probably have around 5% of the tickets I've made to be handled the way I'd like them to be, so I don't have a lot of trust towards GM nowadays. Well, if items can be unbound, then I'll be getting a SF from a friend shortly I hope ;)

Finaly had a GM answering my ticket, they need to remove the mats first appearntly, and it worked! ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting the item is BoE aslong as it remain in the mailbox and im quite sure you can put items on AH from your mailbox useing mobile armory, GL people who'll try to unbind stuff, guess its better than having fangs on a leveled toon
