I was naive to think stuff I posted to this forum was obscure enough to fly under the radar. In a lot of ways it is, the problem instead (as always) appears to be individuals. Those seeking clout and/or page views draw unwarranted attention.
Everyone has a different reason for making twink characters, but at its core twinking has always been about creating imbalance through obscure gear and items, unintended or otherwise.
No mature person here realistically though this gear would last (or even make it to live), but endlessly spamming the official forums with those tattletale posts is beyond cringe. Sounds like they would be happier playing HotS.
Anyways, I will be returning to lurker mode and doing my own research, later fellas.

I got my HoA to level 40, but it still doesn't work, what gives?

I actually support that thread. But most of the gems need a nerf too. It may seem lame but ultimately that big of a stat advantage would incite blizzard to take drastic measures. I'd rather they just nerf the gems instead of pulling some lazy bullshit fix like removing old set bonuses.

My personal feelings about his actions dont weigh on my moderation of this forum. Real smooth brained shit to think Im incapable of separating my personal feelings from the mod teams collective decisions.
If moderating this forum was based on my opinions of peoples actions outside this forum, there'd be a lot more bans.

It doesn’t you are right but it shows as a collective how the people in charge of the site want things to be run. This is not a personal attack on anyone it’s just how things work. Think about a manager at a store. When problems arise with employees, a stance needs to be taken and it needs to be addressed. Your decision was made and I don’t expect it to change.

i am actually happy that he is reporting those things, not because the gear is too strong, but because if its not supposed to be, its better that its fixed sooner rather than later. e.g. we all knew HoA wasnt supposed to be available at low levels, since you needed a workaround to obtain it. fixing it too late resulted in people getting grandfathered head and shoulder azerite gear, which i do hope they fix soon. ilvl 50 gear from legion quests might be intended, just like when they were ilvl 800 and available to level 98s. but if its not intended, i would rather they fix it sooner rather than later, and if they do fix it, they better not leave any space for grandfathered gear. there was no clear indication on whether ilvl 49 artifact weapons were intended or not, but we found out quite soon, im just disappointed it resulted in grandfathered weapons.

feel like this is a bit of an over-reaction to some dude reporting obviously broken gear.
like, i get it... we want cool shit.
but think about: 20-25 twinks with this OP gear will absolutely destroy the bracket; to the point where no one will queue BGs, and Blizzard will be forced to nerf shit anyway. it's much better this happens sooner than later, so people can stop maintaining subscription on their 2nd WoW acct, just to chase eventual bank swag.
we are twinks, we need to pvp, not collect gear for 20 maintenance cycles.
i get it, it seems like that dude is coming after your precious inventory, but c'mon! it's just pixels!
