Two Item questions? Which is the best gear got a fury warrior? + what race?

Ive been putting together what I think is the perfect gear setup for a level 29 fury warrior. I just recently faction changed to horde to pick up another ring and some boots, the boots are in my opinion second best, as the boe ones that drop rarely from gnomer have slightly better stats and I will obtain those eventually. What I am wondering is, are the two items, a head quest green and some blue quest blue legs worth using instead of the BOA items for those slots. You gain more crit but lose some str and stam.''

Here they are:

For the helm I am thinking of using Deep Reach Helm - Item - World of Warcraft. Out of all the mail helms it provides the highest crit while also providing str and stamana bonuses. The helm that gives the highest crit would be Sunblaze Coif - Item - World of Warcraft, which btw doesnt even offer any str, but has a decent amount of stam, not to mention the fact that it is super rare and costs a fortune.I don't like what most people use btw, which is the boa helm which btw only provides 9 haste, so crit whatsoever!

For legs I am currently using the boa legs which give 6 crit and 6 haste ( and 9 str 13 stam) But wait, theres a quest blue legs that give 7 crit! However the trade off is that you lose 2 str and 2 stamana. here they are: Barechus' Greaves - Item - World of Warcraft. One question though is, can you get someone to apply enchants to the legs? IF not then the boa legs are still better. If so though, you unlock 1 more crit.

Also, what is the best race period for a fury warrior? Im thinking human because of the natural versitiliy increase, combned wth the verstlty enchants would max the toons dps output. The only choce then would be do I want to stack stam for trnket slots or get two haste trinkets?


Just some food for thought. would love to see what others think about all of this!
 
Fury warrior - haste>crit. You need to get as much haste, as possible for higher crusader proc chance and shorter CD on bloodthirst.
 
What is the overall crit u will get with going all the way critical build ? ( in process making veteran 20 arms war., so I be watching this post alot ) but ad a right now I'm using 2x haste trinkl. and in loving it. Mainly when I pve solo stuff w my 2 handers with mending enchant. Didn't do the math in pvp yet.
 
think ill be at about 26 percent crt unbuffed, and so far at only 22 t seems to be really fun. Usually top 3 in bg's. Only class that really gives me trouble is preists. Monks sometmes outdamage me though 1v1.
 
What enchants u using on ur weapons ? I got 8 sets of boa 2h axes with different enchants ready to put to test lol
 
im using duel crusader, was using duel elem force then i tried elem force main hand and that bleed one offhand to combat stealthies. End result: offhand didnt proc enough for either strats except crusader seems to be the most useful duel enchant to use. better proc chance and when it does hit so damned hard.
 
Debatable whats the "bestest" race but id rate it like so

1#Tauren crit dmg + stam + stun
2#Belf 1%crit + silence
Silence, instant and situationally better. But stun is overall good in all situations (pealing/counter evasion ect).

1#Gnome 1%haste + escape artist + 5% rage
2#Dwarf crit dmg + stoneform
Haste is not that awesome but w/o any other outs from roots/slows id still take escape artist over stoneform.

Those four >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any other races.
 
Yes with the post above me. I made orc and that was big mistake . Now I'm just big and squishy lol
 
Orc is best for burst with racial.

Haste reduced spell CD? Can you link that passive?

Do you know if Crusader uses the base weapon speed to calculate chance to proc? That would result in more procs since the % would be high and your weapon is swinging faster. Otherwise the faster the weapon the smaller your proc chance, so I imagine it works out to be pretty much the same.

Shorter CD on bloodthirst = higher chance to proc wild strikes. And haste also reduces GCD, so if Wild Strikes procs, I can use them in shorter time = higher burst.

Indeed I tested this last night. Any information on Crusader calculating proc chance based on base weapon speed or wep speed with haste?

BAR Bloodied Arcanite Reaper - Item - World of Warcraft (which the damage range on this is almost 10 point higher than anything else out there, I'm betting it's BiS no matter what haste you are going after)

Base weapon speed: 3.8 speed
Weapon speed with haste: 3.3 (let's just say)


If Crusader uses base weapon speed:
Chance to proc: 3.8*1.82= 6.916%
But you are actually swinging at 3.3 seconds so over 30 seconds: 9 chances to proc Crusader at a 6.916% chance (rounded down).

If Crusader uses actual weapon speed:
Chance to proc: 3.3*1.82= 6.006%
But you are actually swinging at 3.3 seconds so over 30 seconds: 9 chances to proc Crusader at a 6.006% chance (rounded down).
