Twink's Pandaria Update - What's in store?

It's been a little while and the Beta is continuing to move onward, with more and more being released. It won't be too long now until the expansion drops. But through all the high-level content, twinks aren't seeing much action. I decided it was time to comb through and find out just what we have in store for us.

Account-wide mega-mounts!
It's looking like the most expensive mounts in the game are all becoming BoA. Earlier this week Blizzard decided to make the legendary mechano-hog and mammoth mounts BoA, along with many other mounts unavailable at certain levels. But what does this mean for twinks? We don't know for certain yet how it's going to work concerning level 90 mounts, though I'm sure normal level restrictions will apply. What will be interesting to see is how mount like these will turn out (particularly the ones unobtainable before level 40 but state that they are useable before that level, and if twinks will be able to use them once MoP hits!)​

We have been discussing this issue the last couple of days and we made the call to make the following mounts account-wide:​
At this point, the only mounts that are not account-wide are either class specific or rewarded from PVP. We feel like both these types of mounts should still be character specific.

Fishing buddies!
Fishing is about to get more exciting in the game, with 2 new reputations added specifically for fisherman. One being the Anglers; while we don't know what they mean for twinks, we know that they will have rewards, and we can view some of them here. The other, is Nat Pagle himself, our favorite supplier of Fishing Hats. A Blue (below) hinted on being able to get reputation with him, and we see his reputation page has already been datamined.

If you go speak to him, he has a rep bar in his dialog box. The flavor text seems to indicate that you can increase it by bringing him rare fish, though I don't fish so I'm not sure how you would do that.

BoA Legs (finally) coming
Thanks to chubs' post on our forums, we can see that the achievement that unlocks Heirloom legs is already ingame. The legs have been sitting in the game's files for almost 2 years, and we might finally be seeing their arrival soon.

The Future of PvP
Lastly, we've got a blog that might show us what's in store as far as PvP goes for the entire World (of Warcraft). It was actually posted over a month ago, but if you missed it you can read that over here.

Stay tuned. As MoP gets closer to launching information spreads pretty fast, so get ready for the big jump in twink news as the date gets closer!

An excellent and enjoyable read. I like reading about the new pets system. I'm actually quite excited about that!

But now I wish I hadn't already hit my daily Like-cap. :c
 
I am pretty sure the pet info applies only to hunter/warlock/DK/mage pets not the companion pets for pet battles. Outside if that nice read!
 
Not too happy about getting everything my main has. I miss being the one and only Team Fox Kit representative :(
 
I have a question, the new Working Better as a Team achivement, do you need to be honored with the guild, to help achive this?

I just took a look on my guilds roster, and it seems that none of the lvl 85's is honored with the guild, and I can't do this achivement alone... it will take at least 6 lvl 85's or 90's.

Their rep doesn't really matter. What matters is that you have enough people that can max out all professions. Rep-wise all that matters is your rep. But if you've only got a handful of 85s it will probably take your guild a while to max out all the professions. If that's the case I suggest you look for a different guild to make it easy on yourself (or just live w/o the pants for a while...I'm sure many twinks will do this). A highly populated guild will probably unlock the BoA pants in a few days after MoP is released. I'm sure you already know all this, Snack, but thought I'd post to help those that are just now hearing about this.

I just ment, since my guild have like idk 10 lvl 85's or something, it will take a while for my guild to get the achivement, and futhermore it seems like none of them are honored with the guild, and since that is one of the criterias to complete the achivement, it will take even longer :)
 
Well thank God I only did feel the need to do the Sand Drake one time.

I wish I had only done the Traveler's Tundra mount once instead of twice. On this news today though I decided to finally make a chopper, the pain of buying these gold sink mounts is far less to me now that 10 toons will get them instead of one.

Now, I just want all my time back for doing 4 Raven Lords, 3 White Hawkstriders, Netherwing dailies on 5 toons, Kureni rep twice etc.
 
I love having my Mechano Hog. That and having a Big Battle Bear, and having it be account bound is sick. That and I'm big into fishing on my main so that's really cool as well. I'm loving the changes they're making so far, it's becoming more and more interesting to listen.
