Twinking is back (bye bye templates)

Cool story, with a few hours of effort i can play for free too...at max lvl ,in the current xpac and use basic ingame features.
How? You have buy the game first no way around it kek and if you mean gold farming that’s one of the reason f2ps play is because they don’t have time running or worry about making gold for token, this is a twink site idk why you brought endgame into the topic

Removing template cancer is not enough. They should also bring old stat system back.
This system decides which stat/secondary is good for me. Talking about, 'you can not benefit anything with this stat'. Why?

-Intelligent/spirit item on enchantment shaman or feral druid?
-No, you can't do it. Agility is your stat.

-I wan't to try a few pieces of warrior tank gear on my holy paladin.
-No, your stat is intellect.

You may think this is bullsh.it but players that had some Wotlk or TBC arena experience'd understand me. People tried every kind of gear to make interesting things.
Do you remember that off hand dagger with spell power? Enchantment shamans dream..

Can they also not normalise weapon speed and stats... Find it kinda boring that all 2H are like the same speed now, no more 4.00 speed weps with all strength stat

This is good. Think events like the Valentines Day SFK dungeon. Everyone is scaled, you do damage based on a % of the mobs overall health. 20s dominated those dungeons. Stats still mattered and our hits based on the scaled mobs level were considerably higher than level 110s.

They really could remove all bracket levels, the only issue would be lack of abilities. But it sounds like all levels fight eachother in these Qd wpvp zones.

My guess is ilvl is going to be a factor just like how pve works now. It increase our damage and healing done. Main stats still matter, this is just another "stat" so to speak. Brackets do this now for raiding, is the next exp content with the higher ilvl worth the loss of gem socket, for example. It's another decision to make.

If that's the case for pvp that means we get it all back. God I hope so.

Trying to figure out the best bracket to get ready, probably 79s tbh. Huge ilvl differences from old gear.

59s might be good if we get things like http://www.wowhead.com/item=17766/princess-theradras-scepter in BGs. There doesn't seem to be as many "on hit" abilities on gear in non classic content, unless I'm missing it.

i dont know, maybe i didnt listen to the right parts, but i feel that the pvp they are talking about is world pvp not instanced/bg pvp. If only they would get rid of this iLvL crap, i mean there is so much new gear now but its not worth cause its not the highest ilvl.
Didn't hear them say you can stack stats in instanced pvp either. Not looking good for bfa low lvl.

All enchants and gear and enabled and every consumable is usuable in bg again and xp on xpoff brackets still merged

~ the dream

I'm cool with that if the pugs stats scale up to you, etc.

Can't be having too big of an advantage, but I would really love to create gear sets again, etc.

I'm kinda half and half on that. It was interesting to have a ridiculously slow weapon for high hitting crits, but at the same time, I was so stressed on what and what not to use since so many people did tests that contradicted each-other.

It's simple when it comes to weapons in terms of flat-out speed. Faster weapons have lower base damage to make up for their prescribed DPS, where slower weapons have high base damage to compensate their slow speed.

In terms of what's better depends on your class, as well as whether you choose to put it in main-hand or off-hand. A slow weapon as off-hand for example is just ridiculously bad since it will give you no effect, other than slow off-hand swings. However, having a slow main-hand will increase damage on certain abilities that are calculated from the main-hand.

Overall dps may accumulate to the same between some faster and slower weapons, but the slower weapons will always grant you more burst, and therefore preferable in a PvP scenario.

Now, weapon speed obviously isn't everything. You'd still have to look at the stat loss/gains from preferring one weapon over another. So if you were to sacrifice too much str/agi etc. to get a slower speed, then that might just end up being worse due to the stats lost.

there are still weapon choices out there, some of you know that axes & swords do more damage than other 2-handers just from the fact that they are of that specific weapon type. What if I told you that there are other secrets too.... DAM DAM DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM (a few already know).

@Bestworld I was more-so referring to the fact that you had to balance the weapon speeds with whatever stats they had.

For example, one weapon would be slower but have low agility, where another would be quicker but have high agility. Things like that.

Part of the fun, really. Like arcanite reaper gave better mortal strike hits but iron pick gave better rend ticks (not saying iron pick is always better but yeah full strength build :DDDDDDDDD)

The most fun shit ever was when weapon swapping wasn't on GCD (i.e. TBC). You could just swap to slow weapons for ambush and eviscerate. Fuck me that was fun.
