Hey twinkinfo, this idea popped in my head recently; what if our twinks had background stories? This sounds really nerdy, and that is because it is - I don't deny it! Just post a small entry of where your twink came from and stuffz. I need entertainment!



If this gets to page 5 I'll make a story for my hunter, Awesome. It will be the awesome-est story you have ever read. No limit to how long or how short your story has to be.



Once again this is only if you are very bored and like to think creatively! No rules, just get creative!
 
i used to play on Frostmourne Oceanic, horde. there were various 19 twink guilds at the time, however the Premier Guild for the Battlegroup was <Only Ninteen> and headlock was the guild leader at the time with various members such as Kalhunter, Bendogg, Saxxon, Scatt and firetruck being officers. i made a warrior to 19 twink. by level 14 i had arena grand master. i got invited to ON by Kalhunter around the same time he made his paladin Kaladin. at this stage i was not very good. in thunderbluff i would do coutnless hours of dueling with Scatt, Firetruck, Saxxon, Maineack, Kal, Grunge, Restoshaman and Muzzbuzz. this taught me to moonwalk, mouseturn, keybind, stancedance and interupt as i was looking for any possible way to become even better. in the first week of wrath i made a deathknight, got it to 80, brought my Epic flying and leveled mining up. then i stayed in wintergrasp for 2 straight days farming gold as i knew someone selling a shadowfang for 10k at the time. i talked the person down to 4.4k :D i took me two years to obtain my shadowfang. but this simply sparked my competitive nature in the bracket. pre XP off, Wtbcookies rerolled his mage, this happened about 2months into wrath. so he and i farmed our diplomat titles together, taking turns using his alternative account for the farming. he obtained the title about 3hours prior to me, making him the third person US and me the fourth to obtain it. after i completed this i began to level mining and skinning and within 5days had both at 450. This was Bullshit overpowered however it allowed me to explore another aspect of the game i hadn't really excelled at before. Flag Carrying. the Best FC on Alliance at the time was Earthroots, and i would like to way i was the most effective on horde. with my brother Muzzbuzz pocket healing me on a resto druid, i could kill any offence team that attempted to bring me down. it was very fun i admit, but as everything thats too OP does, it got boring. following the 450 proffesions were nerfed and so i dropped mining and leveled up my herbalism. fun >.<. During my time in Only Ninteen i competed in various premades including Vs Slash spit / google us, Mea culpa and some others. this was insanely fun. then one day i was sitting on hunters rise and spot a 19 hunter, he claimed to be funding people on wildhammer for his guild <Meat Puppet> yes this person was Lilglostickz. so i made an alliance warrior for their guild, had explored all my neccesary zones prior to level 10 as i wanted to no get any xp over what i needed as at level 18 i had to do arctic buckler, glacial stone and a few other quests so naturally i was very careful. i used my brothers account to check the horde auction house one time and BAM. shadowfang was in ah for 4.2k i messaged the person and he agreed to wait 2 weeks so i could pay him enough gold for it. to make the gold without a main i decided to sell UDE point epic tabards for 1000g each. i sold 7. this funded my shadowfang, my enchants and most boe gear so i wasn't too much of a burden on Lil. then i began to level a DK, and whilst questing in Zangarmarsh i had a little firefly pet drop. this was excellent as i hope to sell it. though i eventually used hahaha. after competing in premades with MP verse We Give You Purple Heart, and Green Goggle Goliaths we decided to make a horde 19 guild on wildhammer, <Brutal Assault>. my time on wildhammer was excellent. i met some great people such as Murk, Sallen, Lil, calebbear, Wapster, and others i cant think the names of. soon after XP off was introduced and we only managed to get numbers for about 15 wsg matches before the shadowburn battlegroup died. i stopped 19 twinking for quite some time, and went on to tank at max level. (don't judge me). i came back to twinking some time after when i recived a pre paid credit card for christmas one year. so i transferred my main 19 warrior to Warsong where Wtbcookies and i made the guild <District Nineteen>. i funded various people twinks for a long time so that those who couldnt afford to transfer didn't have to give up their love for the best bracket in game, but simply have a fresh start. i would have funded around 30 people with only about 8 of them being active. this was frustrating as shit. Once warriors were nerfed with that god forsaken patch which removed hamstring, disarm, shield block / bash, nerfed sunder armour to reduce by 4% not a given amount and took armour pen out of the game, warriors became horrible in my point of view. since i spent most of my time in arena i enjoyed having those talents which gave warriors such viability. as everyone would've. i have now began 10 twinking with a druid on Medivh and i play with a group of really great people. infact i am funding a few soon so anyone interested hit me up. well thanks for reading this wall of text. i wont tell you about the story with my other 19 twinks lolol. that would take forever and since warrior was what i did best, thats all i care to explain. it's been a pleasure playing with you all. /respect
 
Well i had no money and started a paladin leveled him to 19 and saw a 19 twink i asked him some questions and stuff and i started to mine and skin to make money (Paladin was first character i just picked the one not knowing the OP) and i went to the no XPperson in SW and payed it only did dungens until got like 14/16 ret set so i was needing my trinkets i almost got one AGM but then i desided to level and now i am 12/12 did 1 Hm last night gonna do 3 or 4 HMs tonight I really love raiding now got a ret set 12/16 359's / holy set is 359 17/17 epics 359's 372 and 352's / Tanks spec is 355 still got some blues and i got a 353 and rest 359.

Summmary- Started a pala saw a twink wanted to twink got tired level to 85 and now i raid alot and got 355+ all sets (taking ret healing) and gonna startgoing Hardmodes

P.s i LOVE MY FIRST 372 made me feel great

I started out way preBC with this hunter. I never twinked him out but i kept him 19 for a bit and liked the concept. After a while, i realised that I wanted a real twink. So i went on and created a rogue. His name was Dutchman and was a dwarf (idk why lol). My main realm at the time was Perenolde and it still is. I leveled Dutchman up pretty quickly but was still careful to make sure i gained no more xp then i wanted to gain. Once i was 19 i wasnt really done. I still need many enchants, pieces of boe gear, agm, and fishing gear. Aquiring all this gear didn't happen quickly either. I still wasnt a good player and say after a few months I bought an assassins blade. I loved being a dagger rogue and using ambush so about a year later I bought another one. (this is when they were getting more and more rare) But i got 2 agms pretty quickly in BC with some friends. (stacked dodge for a bit) if anyone remembers when they gave dodge rating. Then in early BC I got my fishing hat. I went for the boots but never got them. So I started stacking attack power and Dutchman was prettymuch a glasscannon ambush rogue at one point. Then I vowed to quit wow and deleted his gear. I quit for a year then came back.



Once I quit wow I also deleted my 29 warrior. My warrior was much newer but still was a BiS fury warrior with some BC enchants. She had quite a bit of work and gold put into making her. But when i came back into wow I knew i wanted to twink but i had none to play but my old mage on Blackhand that a friend funded me. Well i had no gold and the friend stopped playing so that didnt happen. I then created Bigmacattack my warrior. I didnt like him too much at first. My goal with him was to go prot and stack stam. He came out pretty well but eventually I made my pally. My pally was made before they were OP as hell. This was preshattering and we still had "Hand of Freedom" Playing a holy pally was fun to me and much different than other classes. But when cata hit I didnt play him since hes OP. I still have him I just dont play him. But i wanted to heal so i rolled priest. Well same scenario... eventually they were OP too. So twinking was done for about a month. Then i found someone selling a shadowfang. I bought it and created my rogue Yayo. Yayo is still new but has all the gear but a 2nd shadowfang (which i have on another server). I enjoy this character the most since it is like playing Dutchman way back a few years ago. Also one of my 2 85s is a rogue so their one of my favorite classes. Dutchman now sits at level 29, Whitesox my old warrior is slowly being leveled, my 19 warrior is played on occasion, my pally and priest are used to check the AH (thats it). and my new rogue is played a good amount in the 19s bracket :)
 
do you meansa background story like RPfags. like "my name is falkor i come from a long line of badass warriors etcetcetc"...or actual things like others posted. either way, meh



and for the love of christ, learn to structure your writing better head. kept getting lost in that WoT

Either one, but it doesn't have to be 100% true ;)

Back in 08, I used to be one of those PvE persons. After awhile, of the same damn shit, I got bored of it. So my brother suggested to me to start twinking. My first option was a Shaman, but I didn't manage my EXP well. It wasn't something I thought about since I was reacently introduced to twinking. But since my Shaman hit level 20, I decided on another class. A hunter. Ick a hunter, I know. But imo they weren't as bad as they are now. ANYWAYS, I started that character up, thinking more about my EXP. So I tried to do quests for my items as soon as possible. As I was gearing up, I was also introduced to my first twinking guild on Gurubashi, Slash Pwn. Back then I wasn't so.... knowledgable of twinking, so I was rockin the 30 stam 10 agi leg enchant. =X But the GM of my guild, formerly Poonzorz, Slashsmoke ect, was the one who helped me out with these problems. He rechanted all my gear, gave me pants with a new leg enchant with 50 AP, and what not. Also, he was the one who informed me that hunters should be stacking intellect. You know, Eagle/Falcon gear, Twisted Chanters, Treebark. From there on, everything else fell into place. Eventually I ended up making a Shaman and a Pally, both of which I deleted awhile ago which I wish I didn't. :(



Well thats my old twink story. I know it's lame, but whatever. :)
 
this is all gonna be one sentence i saw a twink guild that had transferred to my main realm trollbane a little before wrath and i was like can i make one plz and they said ok so i made a warlock and joined their guild and i played a little bit but never got a fishing hat or AGM on it but i still raped kids in the BGs then i made a rogue when fishin bud came and i got a hat on the rogue and 2 SFs and AGM and shit the end
 
Once upon a time there was a hunter named Mymainfailed (MMF).



Mymainfailed was born out of wedlock to his parents Lolbadatpvp and Cantbearsedwithendgame. Although his childhood was largely normal, MMF had an uncanny knack of being able to spot people who were weaker than him, whom he could exploit to please himself. Whilst growing up he became close to and best friends with a small monkey whom he called "IFailedToo".



MMF always strove to be the best he could. At school he excelled at sports and biology and showed a particular interest in Human Biology. During his teen years he studied Anatomy and became good friends with the local farming community who regularly took him on hunting trips into the local forests. Due to his indepth knowledge of Anatomy and Biology, he soon became an expert at locating a beings' weak spots and how to deal huge damage with minimal effort. He became well known and was made Honorary member of the Durotar Hunting Society and was gifted a special hunting weapon, that is no longer available.



As time went on and he became more interested and adept at his chosen peerage, he would regularly team up with other people to test out his abilities versus other members of society. Although he enjoyed their company, he always found himself to be wanting the company of those who were less versed or skilled in the ways of battle. He would frequently find himself the leader of these small groups of other wannabe starlets and they looked up to him as a natural leader.



Through constant praise and assurance from his merry, yet uninformed, circle of friends he began to feel special and superior to his peers. They idolised him as a slayer of many and the next "great green hope". This in some way went on to explain his development of Narcissistic Personality Disorder at a later date.



After proving his greatness to many, MMF went on to spend his days chilling out in the city of Orgrimmar sat upon a White Polar Bear outside of a bank of all places, dreaming of adventure and the improvement of his grandiose image.

Well, guess I'll share mine.

I remember first seeing a twink (not knowing he was a twink) and he had the chest of westfall with +100hp and i flipped shit. So, naturally, I got on my rogue since this kid was a rogue and started to level. Once I get it I had been utterly confused because I didn't have the +100hp to chest enchant. Ignoring it I continued to level and did't loose that chest 'till I was like 40 something.



*jumping ahead to when I discovered twinking*

When I discovered twinking I recreated my rogue but, I went human for the racial. At this time I was in the Cyclone battlegroup but had no idea there was a lot of twinkers on perenolde. In my impatience I went to the ruin battlegroup Aerie peak. I never joined a guild but remember doing a few BG's and holy shit it was fun. I continued on twinking for a while till pre shattering. I stopped and went to Wildhammer with my mage and have since never logged on to Ganksta, my old rogue.



Today, I am creating many different twink classes in different brakets trying to find the "old high" of 19's when they were fun. I know I may never see this but in hoped I continue creating new twinks and ignore my 2 85's.

Right now i am creating a 29 shadow priest and continue on my quest for finding a bracket like the old 19's.

I got bored with 40 man MC raids that would f up my crappy comp and instead would get drunk and queue Rampage BG 19s (one old retired toon was recently resurrected as a WIP rogue and still has the Corporal title).



Since then I come back to twinking every year or so. This time has been a little rough since I play Alliance 19s and they... well are not doing very well in PUGs. And in my bracket a lot of players turn in petulant cry babies when they begin to lose and turn on eachother rather than try to rally, communicate and man up. That being said there are the occasion fun games which make it worthwhile and there are some pretty decent people met on the way.
