Twink Consumables?

Recluse

Legend
  • Here is a list of consumables that I frequently use:

    • Flame Deflector
    • Shadow/Holy Protection Potion
    • Goblin Glider Kits
    • Minor Regeneration Potion & Healing Potions (both have separate internal cooldowns)
    • Drums of Rage
    • Thistle Tea (for rogues)
    • Rage Potions (for druid/warriors)
    • Discombobulator Ray
    • Swiftness Potion/Swim Speed Potion
    • Free Action Potion
    • Sharpening Stone/Weightstones

It seems like most of these items are from alchemy, but each have their use. What other items do you use?

    • Rumsy Rum Dark / Rumsy Rum Light
    • Agility/Intellect Potions

    Bump

I rarely use consumables since the servers I frequent are ghetto servers with very little AH action. They are so bad that when speed pots show up, they are 20g+ each. I pay 100+ per stack of gliders.

    Gliders
    AGI or WIS Pots
    Healing Pots
    Speed Pots (sparingly)

    That's about it.

    Edit: Oh and bandages

    greater healing potion
    -elixir of wisdom +6 intellect
    -minor wizard oil +6 intellect
-soothing turtle bisque +8 stam / spirit
-hot wolf ribs +8 stam / spirit
-roast raptor +8 stam / spirit
-giant clam scorcho +8 stam / spirit
-barbecued buzzard wing +8 stam / spirit
-mystery stew +8 stam / spirit
-elixir of fortitude + 268 hp
    -goblin glider
    -swiftness potion

Just a sample of some stuff you can use (most of it is 25+ for food)

Used to use the hell out of drums. Don't use them as much any more due to the haste enchants. Drums brings my heals down to below .8 second casts. Seems like a waste.

Felmouth Frenzy is a definite must-have for dps - especially rogues, as it tends to proc in most openers.

the proc'd bolts seem to hit for around 400 total damage, they'll also travel if the target moves (e.g. druid or mage blink).

I too added felmouth frenzy to my repitoire yesterday(demo lock) :)

In the games I played, it was doing roughly 15-20% of my damage- just a hair under ele force. Granted, demonology is extremely weak right now so that number may seem inflated compared to other classes.

Through some limited testing I established that it DOES scale with SP(no gear it procced for 33 each hit, with gear 80-100 each hit)

Not sure if it scales for non-SP classes. I read somewhere that it does not scale with BM mastery(increases magic damage) and it seemed extremely weak on the rogue I was leveling, although admittedly since it's not twinked yet it doesn't have much in the way of gear. Still, in between 10 and 20 it was doing less damage than Touch of the Grave, which came as a surprise considering it was looking like another ele force.

It seems to have some targetting/proc restrictions. Don't quote me on this because it begs further testing, but I did not notice it proc one single time on actual DoT ticks. Could not get it to proc on damage tick on boars outside of org. Most of the procs that I caught seemed to come from spamming blanket corruptions everywhere. Also, I noticed several incidents in which, using mouseover macros, I cast corruption on a non-targeted opponent, only to have it proc on my current targeted opponent.

Just some things I've noticed. Unless it gets nerfed I'll be using this regularly :)
