twink 90's are in their own XP-off bracket

happens that way every expac and it also depends on what basic game is capped at.

basic game was at capped at BC all the way into CATA, one of the reasons 70 bracket thrived so long, in a way it was like the 20-29 bracket is now, except new capped 70's could gear up.

- 80-84 bracket was going due to players being WOTLK capped in CATA until blizz added CATA to the basic game package early in MOP which crashed that bracket and causing 85-89 to become a active bracket.

- 85-89 bracket was doing rather well until blizzard added MOP to the basic game a month ago. the bracket crashed because a lot of players are or have leveled to 90

- 90 bracket being only 90's and 91-99's in there own bracket was done for a reason. it would be insanely hard to balance this bracket with just gear scaling. 91-99's gain abilities bonuses, have access to 600+ gear, etc

sorry op but i think you are wrong.
i capped my dk at level 91, and it looks like 90s are not in their own bracket. I was the only 91 in both skirmishes and bgs against level 90s in full pride. It looks like 99 may be the new 29.

my OP was on BGs only, never addressed skirmishes and was correct at the time it was posted 24 days ago

prior to that i did test xp-off on a 91 prior to the OP, and got no BGs and showed no avg que times, whereas my 90 showed 3-7 minutes. i turned on XP on the 91 to get into a BG to see scaling and is was not the same as 90 scaling. on my 91 all my PVE gear scaled to 590 (did not have any WOD crafted epics to test)

so based on your post i'm retesting right now. and it appears blizzard did some stealth changes

my 90 got into a BG in 3 minutes, players on my team are 90-99. not sure on the scaling 91+, but on my 90 all PVE/PVP gear is scaled to 590. i was at 192K hp, facing players at 99 with around 162K hp. none of the players 91+ had any crafted 640 gear

yeah my bad man, thank you for testing. i read the most recent patch notes and it looks like they did mess with it.
i also tested on my 90 with full pride and saw that it scaled to 590 as well as being level 91 with random non640 pieces still scaled to 590.

So it looks like we might start to see some 99 twinks. As being level 91 does not give you any advantage other than being able to equip 640s./

thanks on info on 640 crafted, many have been wondering about this in other threads. sorta weird they scaled those down to 590 also

my capped 90 is actually doing well in BGs, but it appears there are levelers in the BGs i'm getting into, not sure if this was intended and may get changed again.

the passives that are awarded at 91-99 may come into play and outdo any scaling a lower level may gain, imo 99 may be the level to shoot for for those with WOD, providing blizzard makes no changes

I actually enjoyed 90s being a separate bracket but oh well...

is there any 90s having problem with this bracket since 91-99 merged? i mean
its almost unplayable, im trying to farm some honor while getting 2 shooted by warr/dks and those BM hunter pressing only 1 button and out DPS anyone QQQQQQQ

sad, the only endgame alternative for people who dont have wod access getting destroyed
