Twentified 9.1 Notes

so the real thing that we have now is wow is dying as openworld game but will live as instance based game i believe.

Idk, seems like that happened years ago. They try to find ways to incentivize open world play @ max lvl w dailies and such, but there is nothing for leveling, and there never will be again, because nobody cares about making the process engaging.

You know what game I really enjoy? GW2 pvp. there are many different viable builds for each class, and there is no process that restricts your access to it in pvp. GW2 assumes that if you want to play pvp you will know or learn the class at its fullest. It provides an even gear state, but has a system that allows allot of customization because the choices are made at the talent lvl and you pick stats to support your build. Also, the reason I really enjoy GW2 pvp is because I only play it for a week or so every 6 months. It is new, and fun, and it will always be because i refuse to learn every detail of playstyle and meta. Also, as someone who plays very infrequently, I do just fine. It doesn't seem like the meta is so strong that base mechanics, and cognizant play around an intentional build, can put you a pretty good spot to do well and not feel completely trashed by meta-builds.

Edit: man, this is getting real off topic, sry for contributing to that. Thanks for the run down of 9.1 stuff!

It's not that demanding if you don't go full graphics. I agree with the PvP comment to an extent. GW2 PvP has serious issues, but if you're going to just enjoy it sometimes, i recommend it. I also recommend that you play at least the base game ( f2p ) and go for map completion. It's a great experience.

Player versus Player
Hunter

  • Beast Mastery
    • Kill Command damage decreased by 15% in PvP situations.
Mage

  • Fire
    • Fire Blast damage decreased by 15% in PvP situations.
    • Pyroblast damage decreased by 5% in PvP situations.
Added on top. So BM kill command and firemage pyroblast wont be buffed in PvP and Fire Blast will get a smaller buff.
