Transmogrification: What will your Shadowfang look like?

what if you just need to have the item in your possession and bound to you, there are lots of bop items that you can obtain but not equip.

So what if you put the BoA weapon like the Venerable Dal'rend's sacred charge on one of your high lvl toons and then switch the skin to a decently high lvl weapon such as Chromatically Tempered Sword (assuming your high lvl has the weapon). Then you mail the BoA with the new skin back to your 19. Would the BoA keep that skin?



Also another thought i had would be if you could chain the Skins via BoA's. Like switch the skin of said Venerable Dal'rend's sacred charge to the chromatically tempered sword through the above theory. Once that is complete and your 19 has the Venerable Dal'rend's sacred charge with the Chromatically tempered sword skin, would you then be able to switch your Shadowfang to the skin of the Venerable Dal'rend's sacred charge.



I doubt this will be possible but if they are having bugs the first day it comes out and it is available to 19's, think i would splooge in my pants if one could pull that off.

Okay so, a few questions etc.

1) if they say that legendaries are off limits... are they then implying you don't need the gear to be able to use it?

1a) If they are, then they wouldn't have came up with the new Void Storage System, advertising it's uses with Transmogrification.

2) why would this be of use to anything under level 70 or so...? Reforging isn't usable by 19s......

3) if it were, if you have a non-cloth boa helm, guess what... it remains a non-cloth boa helm... no LFH for anyone with a non-cloth boa



At first glance, I could tell that this feature would be accessible to everyone, and any piece of gear could be used as a skin for any base piece of gear, with the exception of legendaries and gearing your warrior to look like a warlock.



After reading several times, it is not clear at all, and my dreams of a fully geared arena mage dressed as Topper McNabb can't really come true.



The truth, we understand they aren't 100% sure of what they want it to do, there will be many restrictions, and it won't be as simple as everyone thinks.

That being said: does anyone have any new info on this to push Transmogrification to either the "You need the item equipped" or "Pick a model" side of things?
