Transmogging no longer works as of December 21

Keep in mind i have had my gear transmogged on my level one for awhile now. When I logged back on, they UN-transmogged. I tried seven more times of sending back and forth, transmogging and then mailing, but they all failed to work.



We need to take this issue to the forums! Why can't we transmog at lower levels? We HAVE to have BoA's and a high level in the first place! We should take this to the forums.



Damn you blizzard, you tyrants.
 
Yes this was fixed.

When you log in, it gets removed.



(unless the user of the transmogged heirloom is actually able to use the other piece..)

heh...that word made me giggle. we've been talking about this all morning on another topic in this forum. makes me sad. link your wow forum post and i'll add my two cents!

As in Blizzard continually does everything in their power to make this game UN-fun. There is no reason why lower level toons shouldn't have the ability to "look cool" because it doesn't effect game play in any way. This + adding 54+ lvl reqs to the DMF gear (was lvl 1 on PTR) is yet more proof that A) Blizz hates twinks of any level,

Fun cannot be had in this game anymore and if it is had Blizz will nerf it, C) Blizz only cares about money by forcing people to level higher and purchase more xpacs and keep sub'ing just to have any real fun in the game. What a joke.

Well I am having so much fun playing SWTOR I don't care at this monent. I might cancel WOW for a few months until the MOP expac.
 
I was doing some BGs and saw this guy. He is wearing his BoA axe transmogged to http://www.wowhead.com/item=31062 The screen was taken on 22/12/2011, so after the last major fix. How did he get this to work? He told me he had the item in his bag before the fix. However, when I logged onto one of my druid twinks who also had his weapon still in its inventory after the fix, the transmogrification was stripped.

Also, ontop of this, we never expected to be able to xmog. Remember, we where able to xmog because of a bug, which if im correct, most bugs get fixed. It was fun while it lasted, but you cant really get mad at Blizzard because it was never intended for us to be able to xmog BoA.
 
its not fixed. mogged a lvl 75 axe to a boa on a lvl10 today.

It is, you used a quest item, those haven't been nerfed yet as the ITEM doesn't have a level req and therefore you could in theory equip the item on the low level toon if somehow the quest giver let you take the quest.

yes this is what i mean by "its not fixed" you can still currently mog to quest rewards and mail them to alts.
