So I went through the forum to see if it has been done before and I couldn't find anything so there it is! A thread where you post a pictures of the transmogs that you are proud of! I think what would work best is to post a screenshot of the dressing room with the Appearance List so that people who would be interested in certain items would know the items name. If you have better idea of how to connect the appearance of the transmog with the list of items in more appealing way I'm happy to hear suggestions
Rules of the thread:
-Post your appearance from the dressing room with the items list shown next to it
-If there are some items that are unobtainable for FTP give a heads up so that ftp players know beforehand
-same rule as above applies for class specific appearance for, obviously, class gated reasons

Here as an example and to kickstart the thread I attach picture of my spiky gnome. The leg appearance is unobtainable for FTP as its drop from Uldir Mythic, helm, hands and (obviously) artifact is warrior only, with this specific appearance also being unobtainable for FTP.
I'm waiting to see some spicy xmogs!

I've actually never seen those shoulders, it looks really good overall, and I think that besides the shoulders and armageddon every other piece is obtainable for ftp. Also have you tried going with draenor/bfa goggles? i think there is blue variation for plate and its high res so it would look even more amazing
 
My favorite set that's unobtainable would have to be the Deathbone set. Since Blizzard brought back vanilla's world bosses, I was able to complete the blue Deathbone set similar to Lord Victus Nefarian. Only wish I had a chance at was getting the Ice Bane Variant. Enjoy!

This would be my most expensive xmog set, The Chain of the Scarlet Crusade. As everything is no longer obtainable due to the revamp of Scarlet dungeons. I messaged Blizzard that they should compensate people for obtaining items they can no longer wear. This transmog was not cheap and I even had to transfer servers to finish a couple of the last pieces. He was my first twink in TBC at lvl 29. He discovered Orgrimmar and accidently leveled up when I logged on him in Cata. Re-twinked at 39. Then when they made the switch from mail to plate under lvl 40, I stopped playing him. Now he is nothing more than my bank.

The fact that its almost fully not transmoged armor is amazing

No longer accurate! If you get the Tabard to drop out of the Mists-revamped dungeon, put it on and head over to Darkmoon Faire. There's a Scarlet Quartermaster there who sells transmoggable ensembles for the old Scarlet sets (mail and plate versions)!

Not really a mog collector, but this is my warrior's (Enrageleek) mog. Im pretty sure most of these are unobtainable as f2p except the helm, bracers and legs. Weapon is from the arms warrior mage tower challenge back in legion 7.2

Oookay. So, with the exception of the Runecloth Robe, everything in this priest mog -should- be unobtainable as of current patch (most of it should date back to Vanilla or early BC!) I'll include a non-Benediction version for shits and giggles.

(incidentally - wow, most of the old vanilla quest robes that are unobtainable now look like crap! All of the ones I do have like https://www.wowhead.com/item=4120/robe-of-crystal-waters or https://www.wowhead.com/item=3161/robe-of-the-keeper ... oof.)
 
Ok, so mine is all easily achievable as F2P. Majority is WoD questing gear, the sword is simply purchased via a vendor. The only time consuming item is the Shadowpan Helm which is rep based.

I've always had a soft spot for the Shadowpan gear, hence I usually use one of their mounts also.
