6.0.3 Hotfixes for January 12th - Class Tuning Changes, Haste More Effective - Wowhead News

[FONT=Open Sans, Arial, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif]The Haste stat is now 11.1% more effective. For example, characters at level 100 now receive a 1% increase per 90 Haste (up from 1% per 100 Haste).[/FONT]

  • Shield Slam's damage has been increased by 20%.
    ^now they can hit for 2.4 damage :O its mop all over again -.- gg bliz
  • Thunder Clap's damage has been increased by 40%.
    ^nice buff to arms burst

  • Thrash ( Bear Form)'s direct damage has been reduced by 50%. Its periodic damage remains unchanged.
    ^guardians can no longer retard spam this for so much damage
  • Rejuvenation's healing has been reduced by 5%.
    ^ now its even more pointless to use.




 
Some of the changes made in this game make me laugh. Rejuv@100 was in a perfectly fine state but let's nerf it so ppl think we're actually working here
 
That thunder clap buff makes me want to respec to arms again. hmm :rolleyes: . Hope theyll do some magic on fury next time cuz i love my 8/8 mog haha :D

in the 6.1 notes it seems they finally fixed the bloodthirst Procs. so that now u will in fact have a 20 % chance for 2 free wild strikes. ( if only they fixed the crazed berserker passives)

Regarding endgame, they're PvE changes, of course. A %5 nerf isn't going to do much to knock druids off their throne. The %15 nerf to PW:S is just kicking priests while they're down. Take a look at the 2400 ladder. Resto druid dominates, and if it wasn't for shadow dps, there wouldn't even be any priests.

So, guys, don't feel like bliz has any special hate for low-level pvp. When it comes to balance, pvp doesn't even enter the equation.
 
At least bear forming druids got a Nerf.... I'd like to see how effective it is though..

The Age[Fotm] of the Guardians is over, the Age[Fotm] of ProtWars has Begun.

That is true, but I would like to think that Blizzard uses more metrics and more sophisticated analysis than that. Although, it clearly doesn't include low-level PVP.
 
I'm skeptical that prot warriors will be getting to 5.2 levels of insanity again. The problem there was that they made SS scale 100% more efficiently w/ AP, or something like that, not just a flat dmg boost, iirc.

My SS's been hitting like noodles since 6.0.
