Yeah, they say % increase/reduction, but they don't really say how they come to that number. Any given nerf/buff announced for endgame could have any number of effects at our level. They could increase the effect of x, while decreasing the effect of y, to arrive at desired increase or decreased percentage of z. We might not even have ability x or y at our level, so what looks like a buff, could actually be a nerf, and visa-versa.I'm skeptical that prot warriors will be getting to 5.2 levels of insanity again. The problem there was that they made SS scale 100% more efficiently w/ AP, or something like that, not just a flat dmg boost, iirc.
My SS's been hitting like noodles since 6.0.
in the 6.1 notes it seems they finally fixed the bloodthirst Procs. so that now u will in fact have a 20 % chance for 2 free wild strikes. ( if only they fixed the crazed berserker passives)
So everyone understands:
They didn't change the attack power multiplier of shield slam. They increased the damage by a flat percentage.
SS ~ 40hp / 20% of 40 = 8 / SS ~ 48hp
