To Twink or not to Twink

Chops and Dragpz, so that means that when my pay month it's over and i play my char again the bg fights will be balanced, everyone will have ilv 25 gear? The 50 will be nerfed to 25?

And in that case all i could do is to get enchants and sloted gear isn't it?



Warglave, if you read my inicial post you'll understand. It's all about be competitive and make skill be the prime factor in a fight, not the gear. Battlegrounds 20-29 bracket use to have a lot of twinks that play until they get tired, so if i want to be competitive and use my skils i have to gear up to.

It's sad to see people win fights because are full gear and have almost no skill, because the damage it's insane, sometimes one shot levelers.

I hope i had passed my thoughts correctly, if not feel free to ask again the point you didn't understand.

Yes, the gear has already been removed from the game. Twinking is pretty much taking the best gear available and using it to smash noobs, thats kinda why most people hate twinks. But don't worry, most levelers are so brain-dead skillwise that if you gave them OP gear, they still wouldn't be able to kill you

For me I like to play against other twinks , but I don't want to pay a subscription.

So the vet option is best for me - I didn't queue once with the 50 and 44 lvl gear.

The bgs have been great with it being closer in gear margins hope to see you guys there.

Warglave, i'm not sure i understood all your logic

What I'm saying is...

You want no one to have better gear than you but you do want to have better gear than others.

You want gear to "not matter" but you choose to battle in the one spot there will always be people worse geared than you.

You dont want gear to decide the outcome of a battle but you choose to battle primarily against those in worse gear.

I'm just trying to give you versions, not picking on you. I'm not bashing you, the same goes for most everyone (but at least they accept the reality of it). But your chosen path is the exact opposite of your claimed goal:

I want to enter a zone where the skill matters more than the gear.

edit- levelers will never be as geared as you are, which you're clearly perfectly fine with.... BUT --->

Currently my f2p twink is no match for vet twinks or some 20-29 chars.

What I see is, "It's not fair there are 20-29 twinks in better gear than I have"... Newsflash: It's not fair for levelers either.

As you insist i return to say that you got me all wrong.

You think that i want some kind of advantage in relation to others. That's not the case at all.

As i've notice in undreds or towsents of bg in the 20-29 bracket is that about 90% people from my faction and probably from the enemy too have ilv 50 and i only have ilv 25 gear. Only about 10% are levelers.

So is not fair that i search for an even match so i can have fun in the game using my skills?

Of course if i was a ilv 50 twink like many and face a leveler i could win or i could lose, because he may be a low level or he may be a level 29 not gearer but he wil have more hp and skill tree abilities.
