To the F2P exploiters

It is amusing what some people call exploiting and what they do not. When it serves them it is not exploiting. When players in the lower tiered bracket had access to sockets that did not sit well with the Trial community as a whole, so they justified terrain exploits. When subscribers had access to tailoring enchant, access to upper tier talents, the list goes on and on the have nots cried and moaned foul.
All of those "exploits" that were mentioned above are accessible to each and every player in WoW. Some just choose not to access them. And that is their choice, that is not the point I am trying to make. The point is " Don't go pissing on my leg and telling me it is raining!"

With that said, the best way to combat a terrain exploiter is to learn the jumps yourself and go after them. I will even give you a little boost to help you out. Just don't use your jumping knowledge for evil, only for good.

you will get a short ban first, and then they will escalate if you keep offending. has happened to one of my accounts at top level.

P.S. you're full blown retard if you think f2ps have a lesser chance of being banned

Actually my logic is sound - I came here to let them know they'll be reported. I'm trying to prevent the ban.

Maybe f2p's don't mind being banned - just make another account. But that's a lot of work and accomplishments lost.

There's always been terrain exploits (fewer now, they fixed most) and there's always been people banned for abusing them. Most ppl don't report, but I will be and asking others to do the same.

Nope. If you didn't want people to see people get banned, you'd come in here and make a thread telling that exploiting terrain can get you banned, without reporting the players.

"I don't want to see anyone banned but will report this 100% of the time." is like saying "I don't want to see anyone getting arrested, but I became a cop."

I don't really care if you report people or not, but how can you call yourself a veteran twinker if you don't even realize terrain jumps have been a part of twinking for like forever :p It's funny, really, a pug-premading 29 gets furious because he can't move around the WSG as well as some others...

I've been using different kind of wsg jumps for a couple expansions (not the most OP ones though, like going through a wall or jumping out of the map with tornado trinket), and never got a ban or any reaction from blizz for it. Might be because I'm not doing it at max level, who knows...

Exploiters don't stop voluntarily in most cases. Either they're unaware of the consequences (in which case they stop), think they can avoid the consequences (in case MAYBE my post deters them), or they continue anyways and in that case deserve a ban.

I'm done talking in this thread. Ppl have been duly warned - you'll be cheat reported every time I see you up there.
 
Also to the guy that shared the vid - the tunnel jumps aren't terrain exploits. They don't put you in a spot that nobody else can get to without exploiting themselves. That's the difference with the side of horde base exploit. It's the same as the exploit back in the day where ppl would get outside the wall on the horde/alliance roof and be unattackable. Those people all lost their accounts, and suddenly the exploiting stopped. Funny how that happens.

Losing due to blizzard failing to patch a map that's been in the game for nearly 10 years or so can be troublesome. But don't blame the player, though. It's like leaving a boy in a room with a game boy and telling him he can't play the game boy.

It rarely happens, and when it does, it's best to just kick back somewhere and throw out a picnic basket.

Or simply report them because "if one fucks you over it does not make you a better person when you fuck them over" It is against the ToS to use and abuse exploits, I am not trying to say I have never exploited my self as it would simply be a lie, wether or not people exploit is up to them self, but they should know it is against the ToS and might get in trouble for it, and I really hope no one will come cry over their accounts being banend for obvious reasons.

Oh, and about the F2P bans for terrain glitches - Mr Cer got banned for his stream footage, but it wasn't perm I believe.

Terrain exploiting on the side of the horde base to where nobody but pets, etc can hit you is an exploit. Exploits are bannable offenses. We're group reporting you when you do it, taking screenshots, and will continue to do so until you get a perma ban on your free account.

So report him and move the fuck on. This isn't a purely f2p issue, and we don't need your @threads just because your 15$ didn't guarantee you a win and you're salty about it. I had to watch assholes hack rbgs for 4 months last pvp season and you're pissy about some terrain jumping that's been happening since 2004. Get real. Do the adult thing and suck it up.

Alot of whether of not a blizzard ban happens rides on the individual GM that handles the ticket. If you happen to get one that's anal about terrain glitching, and he see's you do it, he may well hit you with a ban, if your account's flagged from previous infractions, you could end up with a bigger ban. It's up to you, it's still cheating, so don't come crying to these same boards if you get caught.

I'm sure if you guys (the ones coming up with excuses for terrain glitching) played @ max lev, you'd justify your win-traded arena titles with the same "blizzard hasn't fixed it yet" lame-ass excuse, GJ, lol.

Au contraire! This is my first time posting in this section so I'll excuse your ignorance. I win the vast majority of the time, and won in this case.

Like I said, was just giving due notice. Don't particularly care whether that's your favored approach. I've never been involved in the 20v29 drama and recognized from the get go there are some really good f2p players (many of which are former p2p). I'll probably make one myself even). But don't confuse me with the 29 group losing to F2p groups.

I would like refer you to my prior post in the 19s section regarding competitive games in the 20-29 bracket. I also imagine you will run into the problem of f2ps intentionally sandbagging you by grabbing the flag and auto-running straight into mid, if they don't like your comp.

As far as reporting f2ps, the smart ones have their toons spread out over many accounts, so getting one banned wouldn't be the end of the world to them. And I don't know of any that have been banned for jumps (could be wrong).
 
wsg jumps are one thing but shit like the hunter disengage exploits or flyhacks (yes flyhacks, happens a lot with european alliance f2ps) are shit...oh and just because blizzard doesnt fix stuff doesnt mean youre allowed to do it..use your brain
