Timewalking Dungeons now TBC

not sure if this works now, during SL to gear up some 20s with socket gear, of course i was in BC time. when BC TW event popped i was getting high levels like in old hillsbrad foothills dungeon that i qued specific. i was getting socket gear they were getting stuff like you see now. i did the same thing during WOTLK TW.
testing now, used a 10
- in BC time was able to gue TW and got into a Botanica dungeon which normally a 10 can't do. i was not able to get the 5 TW dung quest pop in dungeon and it showed me as ineligible when others tried to share, at the end i did get the quest the swirling vial to turn in at shattrah, no socket gear popped drops were ilvl 56
- in current time (DF) the quest for 5 TW dungs popped right at the start of the dung, of course no socket gear, getting ilvl 56 gear
- getting random epic 2/2 gems and 12str/12stam gem
whether in BC or current able to blow thru and not using ooze trink, so not sure if that works, it was lame in van wow TW, so i swapped in something imo better
- dungeons showing iivl56 gear that a 10 (probably 20s too) can solo enter dropped ilvl 24s and had sockets. i was in current time using the ooze and it was smashing everything when up
- dungeons we can into TW go back to restrictions req level. to see these use a 10 and go thru dungeon journal. i noticed MGT now shows level 17, and weeks back i discovered we can use FP to get there
- used a 20, we can fly to isle of quel, MGT said req 25. the dungeon journal shows the gear at ilvl 96 with no sockets and no lvl restriction for 20s. ran two 20s thru two BC TW quest (5 dung ea). never got MGT

I got a couple of the Sovereign Tanzanite gems this morning. Equipped them this afternnoon and they were nerfed to 2 str/2 sta.

The gems are still restricted to their respective dungeons right? Blizz can give away all the TCG items they want but don't take my https://www.wowhead.com/item=30600/purified-tanzanite swag away from me

the scaling is a known thing, like other gems they do reach 12/12 as you level higher

This one was superb until got it nerf somewhen in SL times. Afair it was 5/5 nonscaling, but with daily cd to grind in heroics. I loved to use it for my str tw sets (there was similar int one, but not agi, agi was giving 2/2 only, non scaling)
