This is big....

But you don't have the same stats, so what exactly is your point?

The point is that f2p is getting the shaft.

Not just f2p though. The bottom of the bracket is still totally screwed in all brackets. But at least with the way enchants scale, 25s will be somewhat viable compared to 29s. 35s will be somewhat viable compared to 39s.

f2p 20s? Completely fucked.

Unless Blizz actually follows through and gets rid of all the enchants. But don't get your hopes up about that. The collective howl from the player base about the billions of gold spent enchanting all those heirlooms will be positively deafening.

Even if they do i dont see them removing already enchanted gear, it'll probably be GF'd like head enchants are. But yeah, this brackets been a steady exercise in suck since "free to play forever" was released, the beginning of mop was the best its ever been imo, and i dont see it getting any better than that, and i cant picture it getting any worse than it is now, hopefully.

Hopefully... I have full faith in Blizz to f it up though... I really liked the pre-MoP patch. I roll healers. Being god-mode for a patch was awesome. It totally made getting farmed by backpedaling huntards for the entirety of Cata worth it.

Ok, on to a more positive note. This game really is THE BEST. the soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission. I was watching Braveheart last night and couldn't stop thinking about Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills. I used to BASE jump off Amber Ledge on my druid EVERY DAY during Wrath. I bought some game time. I really need to level a worgen through Grizzly Hills. I just have to.

And I never did Storm Peaks. So there's that.

F'in' Blizz. Talk about love-hate lol.

"Base damage/healing on spells is removed too. All from scaling. Equal scaling for all!" <----Pretty sure this is going to apply to melee as well.

I couldn't help but see this blue post in regards to the new expansion. Some of you have some knowledge as to how scaling works and will understand that this is HUGE change.
 • upset with the sudden change in damage output from ret/enh/fury with the release of MoP?
 • Avenger's Shield hits too damn hard?
 • Devouring Plague hits too damn hard?
Anyways, these things occur because of scaling changes within various classes with the release of MoP.
If this means what I think it means, either everyone is going to be OP, or everything is going to be scaled down to that of a fury warrior.

Everything will probably be equally viable next xpac

I have waited 5 years for this . Thank you BLIZZARD. :D

I'm really not sure how to feel about all this.

Suppose I'll just wait it out and see what happens.

We don't have enough information.

If the changes were enacted now, one would immediately think that the changes would most likely benefit 24's more than 20's. However, some level 20 classes that were nonviable should now become more viable.

However, the above is purely speculation and only time will tell how the changes will affect our bracket.

Im sorry, but this is the most ludicrous thing ever said. Its still WoW.

The only ''balanced'' patch we had was 5.3, which got messed up with 5.4. I don't think we will ever have decent games. Atleast its already better than cata, but only in the sense of class diversity. Burst is still stupid.

All of our troubles would be solved if we only had our own bracket separate from p2p's lol. (no hatin' jus' sayin')

go back to CoD?
this bracket used to be so fun, ever since mop came into existence it has shat on f2ps

We actually had it pretty good for a short while when they introduced level scaling followed by item-level scaling. If that lasted any longer, I would have played my heart out

Silly to wait anything else then this, if the they planing on remove baseline stats..
Think of it this way
For our braket hp gonna be 750-1000 for dps 1.5 for tanks
None crit dmg on arcane shot for hunter gonna be ~30, plus the possibility of losing scatter shot.
~ 100 on frost bolt for mage.
Regardless, fotm for this bracket most likely gonna be rej spaming druid, since "WOOW DUNGENS ARE HARD"

Add 40% resi to this and you got yourself a new f2p healer expansion. Althru dunno how battle fatigue gonna stack with all this.
Aaaand ye.. many gonna disagree with me on this one.

lol'd at hard DUNGENS but you have to remind yourself that not only dps spells/abilities would get full-on scaling but also healing spells. Example: Rejuv heals for 100 ticks at level 4, because it has stupid base-healing (94 +39.2% SP) at level 4...

If you remove the base-healing it might heal for about 20-30 a tick (depending on the scaling), in the twitter post Juno0 linked it says that base intellect will give spellpower making healing spells not heal for 0 if you have 0 int at level 4 (assuming you don't have any intellect gear at that level) but for whatever SP you have.
Same goes for most healing and dps spells.

If those changes are implemented, the general level of whatever raw, mathematical output a class has (healing/dps) will get lowered (depends on the class/spec by how much) and made 100% gear based (besides the small amount of base stats you have).
The only way Blizzard could fuck this up is by giving X ability 136132975613297456132% scaling and Y ability only 37154635% (wow, big numb3rz).

Or by balancing the damage for average geared players and then giving people the opportunity to use enchants that almost double their stats.

Nevermind.

May I ask where you are getting this from?

I don't really care tbh, All I want is aff locks getting agony and malefic grasp.

lol'd at hard DUNGENS.............

My point is that they wont leave healers doing 0 heals if they are complete naked. since MANY ppl who lvl dont have any gear on at start plus it was mentioned before " it suppose to be easy " so healing in lower dungeons must be stronger then dmg.
althru only my opinion. not convincing ppl to it.

Naked dmg minus geared dmg atm + remove sum current agillity and dmg.
Feel free to disagree.

Every toon has stats at lvl 1. So naked damage will be >0.

Likewise, with healers, even if the intellect-spellpower conversion is 1:1, a naked healer will have AT LEAST 29 spell power, since all races have at least 29 intellect at lvl 10...
