Hey All

Can someone briefly explain how the Relics actually work.

I know it says +# levels and some have the traits but the ones that are 801 are often green with no additional traits on it. Just he +# levels.

is this literally just adding that amount to the Ilvl of your artifact, does each one of these then boost ALL stats currently on your Artifact like int/stam etc etc?

i use my Ele shaman for clearing dungeons mostly with Chain lightning, so i have 2x 723 Epic relics of +25% Chain lightning damage.

it is worth losing the 2x traits to gain the extra ilvl from the green?

They add ilvl to your artifact, which results in higher stats on your artifact.

Whether it's worth giving up your best traits will vary from spec to spec - the only way to know for sure is to sim it. As a BM hunter, the Kill Command traits are incredibly strong but the 810 relics were still a ~3% dps increase.

Just have a look around, some people don't know their value and list them for 50-500g.
