Basically with the TC2016 hype and the communities desire to focus on that, and with the arena ladders recent success, the next season of The Nineteens Wargaming League will take place in the Arena. It is my hope that this will allow us to have a shorter and more compact event schedule, as well as provide excellent training opportunities for NWL Casters and Hosts, as well as organizers, and hopefully allow the community to bring an even higher quality of broadcasts to all our events. That being said I would love to hear the communities thoughts as we have yet to write anything down on paper, but we are leaning towards 3v3s.

Being only arenas is something we are considering at this point, and is not necessarily set in stone.

That sounds quite exciting! I'm glad that the 19s leadership is interested in focusing on something other than standard 10v10 WSG.

Can I take the time to ask now what the future of arena seasons / twink arena titles on this forum will be?

Also, how will an xpoff.com account be linked to an in-game character in order to receive a reward for that character's end of season placement?

While we do plan to integrate players in game, and on other frequently used services as much as possible, at the moment the state of things dictate that our efforts go else where, but those things are expected to happen eventually.
 
I am in full support of the movement for the 3rd season of the nwl.

We have seen small 2s tournaments here and there and a side show tournament for the Tink Cup.

I think a greater focus is deserved, considering the ladder has become very popular - as mentioned.

This being said I am very interested in being part of the organizational process as I have been in the 20s bracket, including casting and overall seeing the event through. I am also excited to play.

I think a 3s tournament would be very fun with certain limitations that make the games more than a burst dmg fest.

I do not believe we have had a 3's tournament, it has generally been held to 2's.
One of the many "rules" is that there can be no healing specs on the team.
Now, whether or not this will be a 2's or 3's or even 5's, I do not know.

An arena tournament without healers sounds pretty awful o_O

Whose idea was that?
 
If there is not a Warsong Gulch season the bracket will deteriorate fast. No will enjoy watching the same 3s mirror happen every weekend, at 19s there isn't much that will happen that will cause "woah" moments. If a non twinker tunes in to a WSG NWL stream they will see something different and unique, if someone tunes into an arena NWL stream they will see a shittier version of what they can see everywhere else.
 
I dont get all the disapproval no one said it was only going to be arenas nor did anyone say that there wouldnt be certain rules set in place to make them enjoyable and not a bore to watch.

Everyone needs to chill out and stop saying general terms like "everyone" and "all." Keep the comments to your own opinions.
