EU The Cow King

Hello XPOFF Community.
I've been trying to kill The Cow King on my lvl 19 Hunter, and getting into the cow level wasnt very hard. and all the mobs scale down to level 19, However the cow kings damage seems to scale down but his Level does not scale down... i've been trying for maybe 2 minutes to hit him but i didnt hit him once... and couldnt try longer with about 20 horde jumping around and AoE oneshotting me many times...
However i believe if i can hit him... then i can also loot him. and i can probably hit the cow king since he scales down to level 98 i think, and if i have a few tries im pretty sure i can hit him and Loot him.
And i want to kill him ofcourse for his Polearm Livestock Lochaber Axe . Wowhead says this Polearm scales down to level.. and then ofcourse im wondering if it can Titanforge.. Which would be a Onetime chanse to get a Titanforged Twink item... All i need is now is some help in obtaining it...
Please let me know if you are interested people from the EU servers! We can help eachother!!! and atleast some of us must be able to get a Titanforged Polearm!!! AHOO! Twinks for life!
If anyone already managed to kill him please share information if all my assumpions are correct or false.

It's easy to go to the cow king zone, just wait in dalaran sewers for a goblin to spawn, he will die very fast.
Just wait a bit until the big cow spawns, hitmark him with http://www.wowhead.com/item=46725/red-rider-air-rifle .
you will do 0-3 dmg with the gun, so i guess you will be able to loot him.
If you can't loot himn you can also wait for the postmaster

anyway, f2p can't go to dalaran or get mail from post master.

Edit: nope, i can't loot the cow (even after hitting him), i have tryd multiple times..

I believe that may be once per day. Although I have only looted him only the one time. I may attempt again this morning if I get a chance.

Greetings Sam,:) I hope this message finds you well and I hope you are enjoying yourself despite this problem with the cow king Im here to do my best to try address your issue and get you back to playing as fast as I can :) So iv been looking into this for you and from my understanding of this event you are only able to kill the cow king once per character and the toy is a 100 chance drop however the other items it can drop are not. Now looking at the logs i cant see a kill line for your character so its likely that the game didnt register the kill so you maybe able to kill it again and get a chance at loot :) However i have never seen the polearm on 20+ characters i have killed the cow king on so its a super rare drop :(. You can also get loot for killing the treasure goblins however the polearm only drops from the king and it being so rare there is a big chance that you wont get it. :( Because its not a 100 chance drop for the polearm we cant grant it or restore it to players. I would say run it again on this character and try kill him. If you have killed him before and it didnt register you should be able to get loot however if you have killed him abit back in this character already you cant get more loot. When he says "However i have never seen the polearm on 20+ characters" does he mean only 19 and lower will get it :eek:?

anyway, he said my character won't get logged when i killed the cow multiple times.
Does that mean i will never get loot? or does it mean we can exploit this cuz we are low level and don't get registered in the logs, but we still have a chance to get the polearm to drop?
 
how have you got to 2017 without realising GM responses never make sense
 
The Cow King can only be looted ONCE per Character. The Treasure Goblins can be looted as much as you want. Try being in a Party with a higher Level Character during the kill to see if that gives you the ability to loot him, but with Legion's changes to the way loot works I doubt it.

i will try your idea, gone invite some random people and try to exploit the loot system.
 
I was easily able to get into a raid early this AM with my 29 through the group finder tool. We killed the goblin and I hopped through the portal only to meet my fate at the hooves of the Cow King. When you Rez you are phased out. So I hearthed back to new Dalaran and killed the goblin once again. I was then quickly dispatched by a human rogue upon entering the fields of death. I will make more attempts when I get home from the football game this evening.

Thanks for all the reply's. I've been trying to hit him now for a while... i dpsed him for roughly 4 minutes in a row also using Red Rider Air Rifle without success i simply didnt hit him once! So what im looking for now is something that will make me hit him... Maybe some engi item or something else!! Please help us if you know how we can Tag him! thx! ... Btw i went there at 4:30 Server time and there were only 1 or 2 people at max.. and they were all good to me so This is by far the best time to try.

Succes!! i finaly managed to Tag him! with a Heavy Dynamite Seems like it has a very high chanse of hitting high levels. but you need Engi, so only real twinks :)... However i couldnt loot the cow king!!! so i made a ticket now Demanding loot!!

Finally someone with some ingenuity.

It took me hours to get 10 scrolls so I make http://www.wowhead.com/spell=232323/binding-diabolic-tome.
There are several phases in the New Dalaran Sewers. I would walk into one there would be 100's of people there. I would walk out and then walk back in there would only be 30 or so.
