However, I guess maybe somebody's luck could be so notoriously bad, that it could arise to legendary status, and deserve bragged about.

Unfortunately you can't use leather as a lock, but if you were a shaman, pally, or druid, and won both of those, I think that would just about take the cake.

This is why you can't go ham on farming one thing; you need to spread it out. You need to do this because the WoW software will detect what area you are farming in, and reduce drops for all usefull items for your spec.
The client can also detect the secret desires of your heart, so you must attain total emotional detachment from whatever you are trying to farm. This may seem paradoxical, but remember that from attachment comes suffering. When you can trick your mind into thinking you don't care, then and only then will you find what you're looking for (this can also work for dating).
Also you need to wear an aluminum hat to protect your mind from surveillance if in US.

Nah, I got a lot simpler solution - I let my roommate do the runs. She's always lucky. ALWAYS. I let her do Zul'Aman with my priest, she got me that....

one day there was this hoe on bwl who won the fishing tourney and got lfh in about 30 min he then did a bfd run and 2 rop's dropped. he then got on his hunter and i ran him through it again and rop drops again . so in the course of an hour 3 rop's a dpr and lfh
on my personal note. i have only done 16 bfd runs and i have doomspike and rop . and magefist on druid. now all i need is mindthrust should i ever start playing again .... WHICH is sooooooo tempting at times.

Well after a lot of runs I finally got my mage mtb and magefist. Also decided to try my luck on the elusive +3 spi to 2 hander on my belf priest ( req 110 skill to learn) and got it on the first ru i decided to try for it. (It has a white glow if you didn't know) so now I guess I shall pursue the rop that was robbed from me!

The Crystal only drops from Kelris in BFD, Stocks only has the Weapon off the (arguably) first boss Randolph Moloch.

Ya, sry, that's what I meant. The weapon also drops from Admiral Ripsnarl in Deadmines.
