Templates in BFA

Hello o/
So - I know Legion templates are gone. But we still got scaled to lvl ?9 in bg.
First question is - If I am full bis lvl ?0 with 99% crit, what happens in bg? Do I get lvl ?9 with 99% crit or do I get less % bcz ?9 requires more critical strike rating to get 99%?
Second question is - Stamina. Does my lvl ?0 HP scale so I can handle dmg like lvl ?9 ?
Third question is - According to these changes does it pay off to go lvl 60, 70, 80, 85, 90.. more then 69, 79, 89, 99...?
I am not asking what is more fun. Im interested in iPvP. Gib numbers plz :p
Cheers

No answers so far so I assume we have no experience with this stuff.
Is there atleast someone with lvl 10/70/etc. twink who can give some numbers about scaling while in instance? HP, crit/haste/vers % when scaled to higher level
Maybe I'm just asking atupid question but it is important for me, so thank you for your time <3

your stamina and crit/haste/vers ratings remain the same. but you get more hp cos each point of stam gives more hp, and you get less crit/hast/vers % cos each point of rating gives less %

Thanks a lot sire. So as I understand - there is no good reason to stay at low level when it comes to iPvP

So at ?9 you have less secondaries and more stam?

Yeah. I just bumped into the other thread where they comfirmed this one. So it pretty much pays off to go for 19/29/39/49/59... if you go for max iPvP advantage.

Ah I see, so the 60s bumped up to 69 in instanced pvp get the same scaling as a normal 69 would in instanced pvp, but less stat budget because their gear is for lvl 60s?

Yup. This scaling little bit forces you to choose if you want maxed PvE + wPvP or maxed iPvP twink.
I am personally more iPvP focused so this was important info for me.

Thank you sir, I am the same. Hoping to create a 69 in the near future. Back in season 5, my first non-19 twink was a 69 retardin. Maybe time to revisit my roots.

Just a friendly suggestion/reminder, but i believe since sockets work in PvP instances now, that lower level gear with sockets can be significantly better than higher level gear without sockets. So basically the usually case within a single bracket is Higher level <= lower level with sockets.

But higher level with sockets and same gear is totaly the same. My point is for example: make level 79, gear him with 70 socket gear (so after level scale in bg he is 100% same). BUT - he gets mastery after lvl 78(i think) and one more talent (maybe access to better gear, that has no sockets at lvl 70 - trinkets etc.).
So that means 79 with sockets > 70 with sockets (only in BG)
That is my point

Yes, for your example 79 is generally better than 70 because mastery unlocks. All i was trying to convey was that lower level gear with sockets will usually perform better against same bracket higher level gear without sockets.

In the case of 60-69 here I imagine a 69 would be better as we have access to more quest/dungeon gear with sockets on it?

Staying at lv60 only grants you access I think to 4 armour pieces and 2 rings? But being 69 would give you access to every slot having sockets except trinkets.

Compiled with pvp power or pvp resilience on each slot then would make you very strong, I was planning out a warlock 69 last night and I think it was something like a max of 26 socket slots filled with +6 pvp power or resilience, giving you like +175 of that stat which would be massive compared to normal toons

What ya think?

If you check the 70 -79 section for information on PvP Power gems, they hit a point of diminishing returns, where int / sp become more beneficial - iirc without checking the thread 9 PvP Power gems is the sweet spot.

Depends which armor type you wear as to exactly how many socket pieces are available @ 60. Cloth it's 5, possibly 6, I can't remember if the WotLK dungeons drop a Cloth socket Head, plus 1 Ring and the AV rep vendor +12 PvP Power Ring.
